Wonderful on audio, a new favorite. This lovely story set in the early 60's centers around food and Seattle (among other things) and I absolutely loved it. I will be buying a physical copy for myself; ten stars.
Light shades of AC-12 and The Caddy, this was okay but not great. I would give the next book a go if it shows up on KU.
Moving, compelling, captivating, heartbreaking. Audiobook perfectly narrated by the author.
Not as good as book one but still a quick and twisty read with more depth to it than most. I can't wait to read the next one.
I have...thoughts. At times quite annoying and in desperate need of some basic editing, the fact remains this got me out of a reading slump and I tore through the nearly 600 pages. I'll definitely continue the series when I need a brain escape.
4.25. Listened to this in one go while driving to San Francisco and really enjoyed it. Great narration by the actress who plays Mrs. Bates on Downton Abbey AND the dog's name is Toby
