This book was okay. It picked up its pace, sort of. It was a lot of exposition. And the ribbons make me very uncomfortable.
The end picked up some steam, but for most of this novel it just dragged on and on, seemingly disjointed. At some points I think our dear Chuck forgot what book he was writing, or at least what direction he wanted to go.
Once again Sarah has ripped my heart out and stomped on it. I hated this book. Five stars.
Really surprisingly well written for something I'd written off as stupid new YA fiction when I first saw it. Clearly you really can't judge a book by its cover because I'm now obsessed with the Lunar Chronicles.
Tina Fey is the most fantastic person alive, and her stunning and hilarious personality shines through with every word. As an added bonus, the audiobook version is read by Fey herself!
This one didn't quite grab me like the first one did, but that may have been just a mood thing on my part, so I might revisit this review later. I do adore this series.
