This book completely changed my life for the better and the way I handle anxiety. A+ book, great app with audio files associated with it. Highly recommend.
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my heart.
I love Cardan.
This is the perfect YA fantasy trilogy to me. The second book, to me, was a little lackluster, but it set up the plot and drove the store.
The first and third books = chef's kiss masterpieces.
I am obsessed.
Not going to “rate” biographies because that's weird since it is a real person's life, but I enjoyed this. I loved the Girls Next Door when I was younger, so hearing Holly's side was really interesting. She seems like she's really learned and grown throughout her years in the spotlight. An enjoyable read. I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by Holly herself which was great.
This is so sad but I know it's one I'm going to think about over and over and over again.
Good basic information for physicians. I think this would be a good gift for a newly accepted MD student to get started with learning about money early on. Physicians are notoriously bad at managing finances, so this is a good book to just get the conversation going. A good starting off point.
Honestly don't really care about the Rowan romance. Giving this book four stars EXCLUSIVELY for Manon and Abraxos. A little bit of star credit goes to cinnamon roll Dorian.
Ending got too mushy for my taste and a personal preference but they have eternity together and they have a kid like 4 months into being together? Really? Too much “Mine” “I'm yours” “Yours” type thing. The beginning like 40% was cute with the cozy town, but it loses the plot towards the end. Lots of things thrown in to set up the next story but just not fleshed out well enough. Lots of spice but the way the two characters spoke to each other was just juvenile and being terrified to say they love each other after literally declaring themselves mates seemed weird.
Ouch.......
This is my favorite one in the series so far.
Can't wait to get to the tandem read.
Wooooooooooooooow.
This is one hell of a read.
Suffer the Children is essentially about a world where every single child gets sick, dies, and then gets reborn as a monster. Vampire children? Yep, count me in. It's a story about parenthood, relationships, desperation, grief, guilt, and corruption.
It follow multiple different POVs throughout.
I loved it. My first book by this author, but safe to say I'll be trying more.
Also if you're a friend from my real life reading this review, I really don't think any of you would like this book. <3
Gorgeous. Stunning. Beautiful. The best. How did I ever think ACOTAR was good? This is such a great book. Love it. Can't wait to start the next one. Rhysand is my book boyfriend forever.
Despite bestie Destiny saying this one is slow and her least favorite...
5 stars.
I liked it better than the first one. Things start to come together. My prediction came to fruition. I enjoyed it!
Can't wait to see what happens next!
Also at this point I am still a Dorian stan and hate Chaol.
I don't rate memoirs.
Good read. I remember watching them when I grew up and thinking how different their life was than mine.
Jill has gone through so much. I'm glad she's found help and has a beautiful family.
Who knew a book about a sex doll would make me so sad.
“Whatever he says, whatever he does, you need to remember that you are a brilliant, amazing person. You bend over backwards to please that man, and if he doesn't appreciate you, if he doesn't realize how special you are, then you just have to do whatever you need to do to protect your heart.”
This is a stunning book. I could feel Annie growing and evolving throughout the story. As Annie became more and more aware of her experience, her feelings, her desires... She became more discontent. So many metaphors for the female experience.
A truly stunning read. Will keep an eye out for this author.
