this is my first shari lapena and it was such a surprise!!! went into it expecting a mid 3 star thriller that i've seen before but this really got me. i listened to the whole book in one day, it was so entertaining and interesting and even tho i had my suspicions and kinda knew where the story is going i had so much fun. i didn't guess the biggest reveal tho but i also didn't try too much to figure it all out. excited to read more books from the author now!!!

this was definitely better than good daughter. i still think her books are way too long but at least here i liked the characters and family dynamics and cared for what was going on so i didn't mind. it was very predictible but again i didnt really care coz i was interested in the story. i dont really know how to rate this so 3 stars it is for now

bumping this to 5 stars bc i can't stop thinking abt this book (esp when listening to taylor) and getting sad. it's not a perfect book but it did something to me and dats enough

i liked this alot!!!!!! i loved the funny and quirky writting, it felt very real and easy to consume. i also like the message behind the whole story and the cliffhanger!!!!! i will for sure read the second book :) + bonus points for wlw relationship and pretty nice bi rep
the last chapter got me and now im sad
loooooooooove the parents and teachers in this book so much. wish it was longer so we could spend more time with all the characters, loved the audiobook and the writing.
I did like the story and characters but i think books written in verse aren't really my thing

this took me way too long to read bc of my job and slump but i still liked it alot. reminded me of gggtm series but if the main character was a grown woman.
this was so good, i love lesbian horror. the plot twist kinda got me scared that it was going in a certain way but thank god it didn't
i can't believe this book that I picked up randomly earned itself a 5 star from me. this was so millenial and chronically online but in the best way AND SO FUNNY. like I never laugh while reading books and this one had me giggling and gasping every other page. the insane stories and circumstances, the commentary, the plot twist oh my god ?? its the kind of read that makes you annoyed with how good it is and that you actually enjoyed it and I've never felt that before in my life honestly.
I enjoyed this way more than the second book, probably bc we finally changed the scenery and the plot was very different. Read this all in one day, it was very fun
