This was my first David Walliams book and I really loved it. It was hilarious, had great characters and wonderful messages. Highly recommended for children.

What a compelling read! I was hooked from the start and couldn't put this book down. A fantastic set of characters as you really felt their descents into madness and/or death. Highly recommended.

Have been reading Peanuts since I was very young. Amazed how well the humour holds up after all these. A great way to escape the world for a few minutes.

A gruesome and chilling read. A world where eating humans has become legal. It is the way people have adapted to this situation that I found most disturbing. A fantastic ending that I totally did not expect. A great (but disturbing) read.

I've loved Doctor Who since I was young, with the 4th and 5th Doctors being my favourites. This story was a typical Doctor Who adventure, and such, I found it a very enjoyable read.

Another great Cliff Hardy adventure. Suspenseful plot with lots of emotional issues. Really enjoyed the personal touch to this one as Cliff deals with an old relationship and the possibility of being a father. Highly recommended for Cliff Hardy fans.

I loved Archie comics as a child and this was a fun bit of nostalgia, especially with the Ramones thrown in.

A great first instalment to The Green Mile. I enjoyed the background to how and why Stephen King wrote this in serialized form. A satisfying read in itself but it also creates great anticipation for the next instalment.

Another enjoyable Cliff Hardy novel. I found this one very fast paced and a real page turner. It dipped from being a 5 star read due to not liking some Cliff's attitudes to women in this novel. While Cliff is generally not the greatest with women I felt he'd acted much more honourably in the other Cliff Hardy novels I had read.

Wow! What a moving story! Beautifully written. An important book that can open discussion on a deplorable chapter in history. Highly recommended.
