I was going to say Dune lol but I am sure someone else is already thinking that. I pick in place of Dune, Empire of Silence because this is just well awesome, 1st book in suneater. I love the unique way of telling this story in that you know the end from the begning and the character work is just so well done.

the enjoyment of the story is not the end, but how we got ther to begin with and how our charcter fell from high and might house to low homeless and slavery, I have not finished the series yet but am loving it so far
