Good 2nd book to the trilogy. Enjoyed the series so far and look forward to reading the final book.
The audible book had very long pauses between the chapters, enough to make me think that the player had stopped. Its they had to hit a certain minimum length like double spacing a report.
Considering this book was originally published in 1970, it held up pretty well. Thoroughly enjoyed the story.
Not bad but the lack of technology by using paper really dated the book and kept dragging me out of the story.
I read this book mostly on recommendations and hype. I've only read one other Neil Gaiman book, Good Omems with Terry Pratchett. I didn't particually care for the book or the style of book. I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this book. Its not often while reading SciFi/Fantasy that you get to hear about Pasties or Yoopers. I was surprised to find that Pasties are originally from England. I have only heard of these from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. I think the book is a fitting assessment of the US from a British Author.
Great classic Sci-fi. I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy this book, but I couldn't stop listening to the audible book. This was a great story and I hope they get the movie going.
Good book with a decent story but science does not age well. Using photographic plates shows its age.
