Violet and Finch officially meet on top of the bell tower of their school. Both are thinking about jumping, for completely different reasons, so one talks the other out of jumping and so begins the journey of the two.

I honestly don't know how to rate this because I loved half of Part 1 and the rest was a bunch of different emotions. I wasn't really feeling part three, but that could because I wasn't fond of the character who was narrating it. I much preferred Finch's point of view in part 1 but in part 2 he had a sense of hopelessness that you already knew he was fighting a losing battle. The author made it quite obvious that the characters were more about their illness than actual characters. I loved the quotes that he shared and just in general his inner thoughts, but in part 2 it was hard to read from his point of view because he was simply personifying his illness.
I personally could not handle reading from Violet's point of view. She was so entitled and got mad when people treated her with sympathy (even though she was clearly looking for it). In general she was so judgmental and nasty with other characters and judged others when they did it to her. Part three was especially hard to get through because she acted like the world owed her something. In the end she acted as if she really knew Finch and hated that others just pretended to be sympathetic when she was exactly like them in the beginning.
Ok so I'm going off in a rant that is not really helping anybody. In the end I enjoyed parts of the novel but I can't say I understand why so many people love it. Violet was a terrible character and Finch was just full of hopelessness that I couldn't even really empathize with. The characters should have been more like characters rather than encapsulations of their illness.
It was an ok book especially if you consider that it's free. There were a lot of typos that were pretty distracting. I only really liked the main male character.
Pagan can see souls and one day one talks to her and everything changes.
It was an ok novel but I didn't like how Pagan was using Leif despite the fact that she knew she was in love with the other guy. I hated how she would get mad at Leif due to her other issues and would basically treat him like crap. I personally didn't like the romance from Pagan's point of view I feel like I would have enjoyed this story if it were from Death's point of view. Everything in this book felt force but you get what you payed for I guess.
It could use some work in the grammar but considering this is coming from a wattpad author I really loves it.
Sarah is the new girl in town after being forced to move because her mother landed in jail. She is desperate to go back to her best friend Sydney, who happens to be a guy, but ends up rapidly falling in love with Angel. The problem: Angel doesn't think that guys and gals can be just friends.
I really enjoyed this book but it wasn't anything to write home about. There were some spelling errors but it didn't really detract from the novel. The relationship had a major case of instalove, now I'm not one to really complain about but this one was too fast even for me. Honestly it was very predictable and because of that the climax felt very anticlimactic. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular given that it was free and I downloaded on whim; since my expectations were so low I thought it was pretty good.
I enjoyed some aspects of this book. But in all honesty I mainly skimmed the book and I most definitely skipped over the parts that were of the past. I found it to be a bit boring at times and very drawn. At some point I was beginning to wonder if the book even had a point to begin with. Towards the end it really began to pick up and I ended up being really intrigued. But still not enough to actually purchase the rest of the books.
One of my biggest issues was the fact that I couldn't stand or sympathize with the main girl Lauren. Although we had snippets of the past I still feel like I didn't even understand their relationship and why it even happened.
My favorite part was the incorporation of DID in the book it was a nice touch and the only thing that kept me interested in the book at all. I really would rather much prefer the book in Cal/Chris's POV.
I had to use this for a research project. It was a little disturbing, in terms of hygiene.
Rain moves to a new location after an accident she feels responsible for. She's closed off and doesn't want to think about love she just wants to make sure no one gets hurt in her pool. Knight is dealing with his own past and recedes into himself when he can't ignore the pain anymore. Both are drawn to each other.
This book was quite interesting. It kept me reading so that's a good sign. I don't think this book is for everyone since it is pretty slow. I was amazed how many times Rain can manage to get herself into trouble and the sheer amount of times where she was sexually harassed is astonishing.
I loved the way the story is written. Ivan has such a simplistic way of thinking that makes the story even better because it wasn't trying to be convoluted but rather facts that Ivan knows to be true.
I liked how this was included in the DVD to really understand how the Amazing Amy books was presented in the novel.
It was a really quick read but I wished there was more concentration on the characters as individuals rather than just the relationship. I also enjoyed the moment when I realized that it was connected to another series by her, it was a sweet surprise.
It wasn't bad for a free book. Although I don't plan on ever buying the second book I think it could pass for an open ended stand alone. It was major insta-love and the characters were pretty flat. Overall it was ok but some of the characters actions were never explained.
*read it again cause I had nothing to read in the train. I still enjoyed it but i just can't bring myself to pay for the sequel.
I never finished this book. I didn't like the narrator at all. I feel like the story has a lot of potential to be really interesting but the narrator was terrible making it seem boring and completely drawn out. I'm not going to rate this book right now but I'm thinking of giving it a second chance since I already read half of it.
I really enjoyed it. It was cute and everything I needed in the moment. That being said I guess I expected more from the characters. I was neutral with both of them, they were okay but a bit flat. I related to Wren in the way that people see me as way too quiet in school but I don't get how she let that define her. Towards the end, I couldn't deal with how she was dealing with certain situations. Grayson was alright but we didn't get much from his character except how much he liked Wren; which is such a let down because his past was really fascinating.
Personally I had higher expectations based on the synopsis. I also felt like the whole issue at the office was resolved way too easily and seemed rushed. Overall it was okay.
Overall, I think this book was way over-hyped for me. I was disappointed with how much I didn't love it. A majority of my dislike stems from the fact that I could barely tolerate Lucy. I also didn't really feel the chemistry between Lucy and Joshua.
I've loved this book since I was little and it was a wonderful experience to share with my little brother.
