I thoroughly enjoyed this. The juxtaposition of high fashion, the evolution of football with the emergence of an Orc added up to a great and at times thought provoking mix. Classic Terry :)

This was a very challenging read but I am glad that I read it and will probably read the sequel, Ink, at some point.

I haven't read anything like this before. The blurring of dream, history, the current and the vellum time lines was at times confusing but paid of in spades once I got used to it.

Finally finished it!
Wow! What a great follow up to A Game of Thrones. I am eager to get onto the rest of the series. However, I have several books to read between now and the time I get to A Storm of Swords.

Even better than The Lightning Thief and a joy to read with my six year old son. I hope that the series keeps his attention as the characters age. I'm sure it will so long as there are monsters to fight and anaklusmos is put to good use.

So far so good. Finally someone captures the Scots use of the c-nt word and why I have a hard time understanding that US readers have such a hard time with it ;)

One of the best fantasy books that I have read. It's not quite like any other fantasy book that I have read before and one that I will remember for a long time.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Made me think a lot about points of view, especially about colonialism.

This was a good read that was packed with ideas. It was a bit of a struggle during the third quarter of the book but it was well worth persevering.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The action didn't stop from beginning to end. Very suspenseful.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. True...it may not be quite as much fun as a discworld book but in the end it was just great.

Short, direct and thought provoking. The art is stunning worth the price of admission by itself. The only fault I can find with the book is that it was too quick a read.

Got distracted by Terry Pratchett's Unseen Academicals. Never got the desire to go back to it.

Looking forward to reading the continuing adventures in Scarlet.

Not the best Terry Pratchett novel but certainly a great read.
