Back onto another serial killer case with Laurel Snow. Shes funny, relatable, and a badass FBI detective. We get more cute moments with Huck and Laurel.
Laurel often asks if there is a line between genius and madness. We see more of Abigail and its really thrilling.

Quick and thrilling read. I did not see that ending coming!!!!! Lots of secrets, a missing person, and 3 different perspectives.
Do you really know your neighbors and Friends?
It reminded me of the Sons of Anarchy, it's was really interesting read.
If you like the show, you'll love the book.

Lennie misses her cruise and is stuck in a beautiful fjord town. Lennie swears, hates being told what to do, loves photography, and has a knack for trouble. It was like Fae Realism. I loved the mystery, nature, Norway descriptions. I need to visit now.
Lennie meets Espen, local cop and Oyvin, the local grump where spice and friendship bloom.
I loved it.
Definitely reading the Christmas Novela next.

My First, Amazon First Reads, taste test.
It had so much potential. I wish we had more from Rachel and Anjali. More dialogue talking, thrill, and discovery but we get none of that. It needs better explanations, like we missed all the good drama cause it was off screen. I liked the setting, the wine, and the women coming together.
I would not categorize this book as a mystery or thriller. I needed more action, thrill, mystery, and dialogue.
2.5 ⭐️ but I rounded up for goodreads.
I was drawn in for the survivalist aspects. It was obviously Satire, lots of exaggerated and stupidity. The influencers were so annoying, it drove me crazy. It went unhinged very fast.
It wasnt for me!
The beginning was slow but then it got good then REALLY good. It's been a long time that I read a book that took longer than a day to read and kept me engaged the entire time.
I loved it ❤️

Wow!!!! That ending, I did not see it coming. Domestic Thriller, an affair, and something in the basement!
I think I had to high of expectations, because this book wasn't as good as i thought it would be.

That was a good ending. I loved it. Excited for the next book. There was lots of similarities to the Hunger Games and The Red Queen. There was a few cheesy YA parts.
Enemies to Lovers
Slow Burn
Zero spice
Lots of tension

I loved the beginning. Willow was ahead of other witches her age and very witty and sassy. I liked the different witch categories and strengths; Red, White, Crystal, Green, Blue, and Black witch groups.
Vampires are Vessels. There is a professor- Student relationship. Enemies to lovers, but still very much enemies. Good spice and tension
This book is one of a kind, it was one of the first true stories I've ever read.
I loved it, and am looking forward to the movie.

Magical Realism, such a heartfelt story. I loved it. The generations of women at different ages. It was so sweet. The love June has for her grandmother, friends, Annie and Eamon. Kind of a slow burn but really interesting backwards love story.
“And then I spoke my vows into the summer wind. that I'd love him forever. That I would always, always come back. That no matter what, I would find him.”

A library, ghosts, and enemies to lovers. It was a cute ghosty read. I think it would be a great movie. I like Este trying to follow in her fathers foot steps and the haunted school.

It gave Pretty Little Liars vibes throughout the book. It was filled with toxic friendships, play writing, and lots of secrets.
The winery setting was pretty, the caves were exciting sceney. The thrills weren't there for me, little to no twists.

I loved it, the slowest slow burn but I was here for it. Grump meets sassy sunshine. ⭐️⭐️
The Wall of Winnipeg, was such an interesting phrase and unique. I really loved this book. My favorite Mariana Zapata book thus far ❤️
