I am impressed with all the ways that tea was magic and still so realistic. It made the setting seem so real and just right there. I can't wait to see what will happen next.

I love the Tristan Strong series. Sometimes it felt like there was too much too fast in this book. And I'm not sure how I feel about how it all ends. But any chance to visit with Tristan and the Alkean gods is a good.

DNF'd this at about 10% in. The only connection I am making with the characters is how much they are annoying me. So this one is not for me.

The investigation part is easy for Hamish, but managing his love life and colleagues is complicated. It seems that some things never change for him. The solution to this one was a bit complicated. Thankfully Hamish kept investigating.

I love Nancy Drew novels and hard boiled detective radio shows, so I love the way this paid homage to them while also poking fun at them. This was a great fun read that was willing to poke fun at the genre while also honoring it.

This was the great series! This was a great wrap up. We see so much character out of them and there is plenty of creepy things going on. I might even see some of that creepiness in my sleep.

This was a biography that I didn't know I needed. Her stories were so relatable even if I hadn't gone through those specific things. It is good to know that people can be out there living a ‘non-typical' life and still be real.

I liked visiting the Indiatlantic more than in book 1. I think the characters are a little more settled into who they are this time. The mystery had several twists and turns. That made it a little hard to follow. The setting was fabulous though. I love the hotel and all the boats in this one.

I like the relationship between Lia and Hayley. I like Hayley's slow growing relationship. The investigating was clunky. Overall it seemed to move slowly. I can't pinpoint exactly what was off, but it just seemed slow. I will probably pick up the next one in the series sometime.
