This was love at first reading. I adore this book. I think I've found a new favorite author!!

Tenía altas expectativas para este libro, pero me he decepcionado un poco y no es culpa del autor ni de la historia. Mientras iba leyendo adiviné los giros en la trama y algunas de las revelaciones más importantes, así que cuando ocurrieron no me sorprendí en lo absoluto. Es por eso que no puedo darle a este libro una puntuación más alta.

Actual rating: 4.5 I definitely didn't see that ending coming! I enjoyed this trilogy more than I thought I would. I liked Kelsea (although sometimes I wanted to slap her) and the rest of the characters, especially Mace. But overall, it's been intriguing and captivating. I know some hate the ending because it's not usual, but I liked it. I think it made the whole story worth it.

This book was so much fun! I liked the many twists and plots. One thing that drove me nuts was Kelsea's foolishness, but overall it was really good. Can't wait to finish this series!!

I enjoyed this one SO MUCH! It's been a while since I liked a female protagonist, but Kelsea is awesome! Though I'm quite concern about the next book. I don't want to be disappointed because this book ended with so much tension and I need answers.

The problem with super hyped books is that sometimes they are a huge disappointment. However, it didn't happen with this book.

I'm relieved because it didn't let me down. The pace, the plot, the characters, everything was perfect. I can't wait the author's next novel!!

I don't even know what to say... this is epic.

I'm not quite sure about what to say about this book. There are things I enjoyed and liked about this book, but others were disappointing. First, I was (still am) confused about the series. It's supposed to be about Ollie Chandler, but in this first book he wasn't the main character, the story was more focused on Jake, so I don't know if the rest of the books in this series are going to be like this. Second, even though I'm a Christian, this book was too preachy for me. But I appreciate the themes of abortion and salvation throughout the plot. There were some predictable scenes, and I wasn't surprised with those ‘twists' in the story. However, there were some things I definitely didn't see coming. Overall, I would say it's a good book, a bit slow in some parts, but fast paced in others.

Of all Disney princesses, Mulan is my only favorite. So when this book came out, I was really excited. I hoped to read a retelling of Mulan that I'd love more than the Disney version. However, it was nothing like that. There are some things I didn't like about this retelling, but there were others that impressed me. At the end, I did enjoy the story, but if you're looking for a Disney-like Mulan, I don't think this book will be for you. Although, if you want to enjoy a different Mulan, you'll definitely love this one.

The pace was slower than the previous book. I was getting bored, but the ending was superb. I still don't think it compares to the first book, but I'll finish this series anyway.

One thing I really liked about this book was the representation of different learning problems. Also the accurate picture of themes such as division of social status and expectations of men and women. What I did not like was how characters seemed to know exactly how the other felt. It may have worked once, but it happened repeatedly and with different characters, which I find unbelievable. Besides, the romance was too cheesy and at some point I was tired of them together. Overall, it's an empowering book for girls.

I haven't read many sci-fi books, but this is by far the best in my bookshelf. The story is weird, but it makes sense at the same time. I enjoyed Liu's writing style and how he combined different topics such as history, philosophy, science and mystery.

Too romantic for me, but it was funny and unexpected.

Me gustó mucho. La habilidad de la autora para develar secretos de a poco, es innegable e impresionante. Ella tiene una forma de escritura increíble y me ha tenido pegada al libro hasta terminarlo. No podría decir que es la mejor novela de misterio que haya leído, pero definitivamente está dentro de las más memorables.

Can't say I enjoyed the book because I didn't like any of the characters almost until the end (I only liked Lexi from the beginning). But the story overall was ok.

An awesome ending to this trilogy! This book surpassed my expectations!

This is awkward... I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this sequel was just boring. I couldn't stand anymore and her foolishness. I was so hyped for this book, but I'm disappointed.

Why?? That ending!!!!

I'm VERY conflicted

I loved the Japanese mythology. It was a great way to know the Japanese legends and its customs. But the story was really slow and it wasn't going anywhere. And then, at the last chapters, the story became SO intriguing that I couldn't stop. I found Yumeko annoying and I disliked her. However, as the story progressed, I got to like her and sympathize with her. (Go, Yumeko!)

Soooo... yeah, I'm conflicted. I still want to know what happens next, especially with THAT twist at the end that left me astonished. But I'm still not sure if the next book will be a great investment or a complete waste of money.

This was very informative. There are things that seemed unfinished, and that's the reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

I don't know how J. K. Rowling does it, but I was totally immersed in the story. Reading was like being INSIDE the book. It was totally amazing!!!!!!! It's one of my favorites by far.

Episode S: 2 stars. Episode 0: 4 stars.

Another was one of my favorite reads last year. I was so in love with the story that I bought the manga adaptation and this book too. The manga was awesome, but this one was somewhat disappointing. Episode S was really boring at the beginning, almost until the end. I was about to give up when a plot twist appeared and left me dumbfounded. However, that twist alone doesn't mean that I changed my opinion about the story. By other side, I really enjoyed Reiko's side of the story in Episode 0. The art was great and I loved how it was related to the original main story.

Step aside, Amy Dunn, Yuko Moriguchi is the best at revenge.
This story is so twisted that is impossible to ignore. Brilliant plot and unexpected scenes.

This has been fun... but not as interesting as Keigo Higashino's other books. I enjoyed all the game, though the ending left me wondering about the whole situation.
