Lisbeth Salander is a mystery, this book is much more focused on her but the suspense doesn't decline at any time. I liked that the journalist didn't stop investigating despite the circumstances and the entire novel is very well written. Some parts were very sexual and that's what I didn't like at all, however, I applaud the rest of the story.
Reseña de toda la serie en español
I don't know why some people didn't like this book much. I really loved because I don't like happy endings and this series is “an endless story” but I think it is as powerful and dramatic as the rest of the books in the series. I think what made Ted Dekker with this story was to give it an own character and show the sacrifice, the love and commitment in a completely literal. In my opinion it was the best book of the series.

This book is unique. I mean, every book is but with this one I couldn't predict what was coming next. I loved Janeal but honestly, I hated Robert... He was so sweet with Katie but not with his own girlfriend. It really annoys me. All the story was perfect but I'm not happy with Robert. I love the team Dekker and Healy. They complement very well and I enjoy this book until the end. But, being honest, I really hated Robert.. but I loved Janeal and Katie, they were the best part of all.
“House Rules: 1. God came to my house and I killed him. 2. I will kill anyone who comes into my house as I killed God. 3. Give me one dead body, and I might let rule two slide. You have until dawn.”
Those are the rules by which the game is moderated. The team that made Frank E. Peretti and Ted Dekker is awesome. Both have a particular style of writing that merged in this book. The book is fairly easy to read and the pace is constant. In addition, the intrigue of knowing the history of the characters keeps you up to the last word. The villain, Barsidious White, is a very well crafted, demonstrating wisdom, intelligence and represents pure evil. It's a story that leads you to examine your own heart.
