Why this book?
Piranesi is another book I re-read regularly. It captivates living in the moment in a way that I truly envy, and Piranesi as a main character is just so lovable. It's like a hug in a book form.

I cry every damn time I read this book. It's s full of nothing but heartbreak, so stay clear.
(You should totally read this)
Why this book?
If I felt guilty about my pleasures then I sure as heck would feel guilty about how many times I've reread this series (despite how bad the ending is). The boxset of these paperbacks has moved with me between the UK and Finland multiple times and are probably the books that have stayed in my shelf the longest. So entertaining.

Such a wild ride. Smart, stupid, funny and heartbreaking, Project Hail Mary has it all.

Only read this as an adult, but loved it. Very different from the Ghibli movie and - as always - so much better.

A childhood favourite, I don't even know how many times I borrowed this from my local library!
Why this book?
If I'd read other books by Alexis Hall before Boyfriend Material I probably wouldn't have fallen for it as badly as I did, but as it was my first foray into their work it hit all the right spots! Funny, witty and emotional AF, I love these little dum-dums.

Why this book?
I didn't think I'd ever love a hetero romance, but boy did I love this book! It made me laugh and cry, although not at the same time, and I'm looking forward to reading it again now that I've got it on my own shelf.
#2 of 7 in The Murderbot Diaries

Why this book?
While All Systems Red was Just Okay, Artificial Condition made me fall in love with Murderbot and ART. I'm not sure how many times I've reread the series since my first read in 2021, but it's certainly been at least twice a year. An absolute comfort read that I get back to whenever I feel down, much like Sanctuary Moon.
#1 of 3 in The Farseer Trilogy
1995 • 1,269 Readers • 400 pages • 4.1
Why this book?
The Farseer trilogy was not my first foray into fantasy as a teen, but it certainly was the one I remember the mostly fondly, and even after multiple rereads it continues to be my favourite.
