“And I don't want to spend another day without you knowing that you are the one I want. You are the risk I chose to take. You are the one I choose.”
Love her enough for both of you until she's not scared anymore. Then love her some more.
LOVE SULLYTHEA SO MUCH
Second chance always hit! Specially when they're from different sides of the city.
This was my first SL Scott book and I love Harbor and Lark relationship and how they start open up to each other!
Was a cute and easy book to read!
Wow, I don't have words, even days after I've finished their book
this second part, the final part, was more heartbreaking than the first and I love that Anna gave us two books of them because Jade and Prescott have so much to tell and so much to fight for
Something that has Anna is that she builds some good characters and knows how to take advantage of their stories. It's obvious that Jade and Prescott were going to end up together because here we only read romance if it ends well, but the two have a long way to go separately. The good thing is that they are never alone, because the other characters of the series comes into action and shows support.
Love reading Jade with Penny and Grace and how Spencer and Nixon never left Prescott alone.
Can't wait for Penny but I'm not ready to say goodbye to the characters and series, also...Anna I need Spencer's book!
Thank you for the arc!
THAT ENDING?
Yeah, this is a duet and that ending has all the senses in the world, but... I need kiss to salvage, like right now.
I'm a big fan of this series and I loved and enjoyed every book, character and couple and, of course, Jade and Prescott were not going to be less.
Anna gets you hooked on her stories, and you connect with her characters through her words. She does every time.
We met Jade in Nixon's book and from the story in that book, we knew where this one was going. So yes, this one is another rollercoaster of emotions, not only for Jade but for Prescott too. Reading about Jade was sad how she tries to enjoy and tries to act like nothing happens because she doesn't want to worry her friends and her brother.
Prescott for his side, it's recovering from an injury and is not easy, he has to give his best when he simply can not do more, he can't let his team down, and he has to give it his best. But the injury is not the only complication, because reading how he feels attracted to the sister of one of his best friends and teammates has been a true marvel.
Prescott and Jade hate each other, or that's what they think, cause the reality it's that these two are more similar than they think they are. The tension between them, how they start spending time together cause they enjoy each other's company, obviously no one knows about them.
I love the secrecy, the ‘‘forbidden'' and how the relationship between them evolves. I can't wait to read more about them in their second book!
Thank you Anna for the arc, the book, the characters and this group!
ARC IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW
Excited to have been able to read the story of Anna and Santino, even if it had not been what I imagined.
At first I had a hard time getting into the story, but when they go to Paris I already enjoyed a little more and I really liked reading the relationship of Anna and Santino, but above all I enjoyed the other relationships (Dante and Anna, Enzo and Santino, Anna and Valentina, Leonas and Anna...) and was really surprised by some characters like Clifford.
It was a cute romance story, I missed a little mafia though, but i liked it

This man...he burns my world to ash and builds it up again into something I never thought could be mine.
It's been days since I read this book, and I'm still thinking about it. YES.
I don't know what it is about Lilian, but she already got me with her previous series and characters. And this new one is no different.
We already had a glimpse of the characters in the previous series (however, it is not mandatory to read it in order to read this one) and I was really excited about the story.
But this book? Yeah, it was not as I expected, it was much, much more.
We have Elsie a strong character who has suffered a lot since she and her friends were kidnapped. However, despite everything, she still struggles to escape, and the opportunity presents itself in the form of a dangerous man.
Michael it was not what I expected and that was a pleasant surprise. He is a bad and dangerous man, but he has a soft spot, and I love it! I loved his scenes with Sophia (I really loved this kid so much) and how protective of her he was. And not only with her, but with his brothers as well, I already need the books of the other two.
Michael and Elsie together were so much fun and amazing, she knew how dangerous Michael could be, but she wouldn't shut up and reply to him and I loved reading about the interactions and the tension they were building. Michael helped Elsie overcome her traumas, but Elsie was also a help to Michael, and not only when she accepted the deal to marry him.
This book was really amazing and an incredible start to the new series, I know the other books are going to be up to the challenge.
So, if you are looking for a book with:
- Mafia romance
- He falls first
- Single dad
- Forced proximity
- Marriage of convenience
- Enemies to lovers
- One bed
- Touch her and die
This one is for you!
Thank you Lilian for the arc, I can't wait for another book of yours!
