Postponed for another time. It just doesn't fit my current mood and I rather not push myself to read it and risk not liking it. So I'll leave it for some other time. Maybe once Fall rolls around and I'm in the mood for mysteries and all that.
I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I had heard a lot of mixed reviews but I have to say, I really enjoyed my time with it. It was fun and very entertaining. Harry as a main character was enjoyable and didn't annoy me like other male mcs. Some of the writing and dialogue was cheesy but it amused me at least, instead of putting me of. I'm definitely curious enough to continue the series, plus I hear they get better. So looking forward to that.
I really wanted to like this as I'm on the lookout for good sapphic romances. However, this was a flop. I intensely disliked everyone in this book. They all seem like toxic messes and I avoid that like the plague. So it's a hard dnf from me.
Postponed for now. Haven't felt the urge to pick it up in weeks. So I'll get around to finishing this one another time.
Stopping at chapter 16.
This books has been melodramatic and racist so far. It's spent 110 pages setting up the characters and unfortunately all of them suck. And the science hasn't been enough to keep my attention. Might come back to it, might not. We will see.
Postponed for now. I don't like this other half of the book as much as the first part. Plus the romance aspect is really annoying me.
Just not in the mood to read this one anymore. It started out great for me, gave me the craving to play the games. But then Maric got progressively more annoying and somehow I ended up liking Loghain of all people 🙃 anyways, I might revisit this in the future but for now its a dnf.
Really haven't been feeling picking this one up. So setting it aside for now. Will def finish reading it one day tho. The slow pace just isn't working for me at the moment.
Edit: I pushed through and I'm so glad I did! Because the second half of this book really redeemed itself for me. So good! And that ending 👌
Got through about 35% of the way through and it's been a struggle. I have absolutely no motivation to read it. The story has been moving super slow and I really don't like any of the characters in this one. I'll keep it on my list and maybe give it a chance some other time.
It has an interesting concept. And I do like what's going on with each of the storylines, I just don't like the way the chapters are divided. Every time I'm getting used to the current perspective, the chapter ends and I have to do it all over again with the next pov. It just takes me out of the story constantly. So I'm gonna take a little break from this and come back to it some other time.
I just can't seem to get into the characters or the writing. I'm not dnfing it forever just putting it off for another time.
Really struggling to read this one. Any time I pick it up I do enjoy it for the most part but the jumping around timelines and POVs is really making it hard for me to get into it. So soft dnf for now. Will come around to it another time.
This one deserves more attention and dedication from me and sadly I'm more focused on reading fantasy books this month so leaving this for another time.
I think this was a fantastic way to be introduced to the Arthurian legends. The story is summarized very well, while still feeling like you're getting the story you came for. Also simple and easy to understand language. Overall, I really enjoyed my time reading this one and I can't wait to pick up more Arthur related books!
I am so booooored. It's taken me like 3 days just to get to this point, at this rate I was going to finish it in January.
Picked this up for the Three of Clubs Club but I'm really not feeling it right now. So soft dnf for now.
