Equal parts beauty and monotony.

Inspiring, informative and empowering.

Sweet, funny, clever and twisty. A great little light read.

Overall, I enjoyed it, but in parts it was patchy and badly in need of an edit.

Dull, listless storyline, boring, monochrome characters and a stupid ending. Blurgh.

Just the right mix of sweet and interesting, with a strong female lead, not often seen in romances. A romance for people who don't like the genre.

Boring, saccharine and made me hate Lily. Dash and Langston were the only decent things in this pile of sugar coated shit.

I cannot, in all honesty, rate this lower than perfect. A simply perfect book.

What a read! Read in one sitting, up until midnight kind of book. Very excited to see this is going to be a series. Can't wait.

3.5 stars. Lost points for being infuriatingly difficult to read, literally, the text is all over the place. The main character was painfully “YA” but the supporting characters were enjoyable. I enjoyed the premise more than the writing.

An exciting adventure novel in the vein of The Wizard of Oz, for the older kids. Got a big bogged down in places but the writing is beautiful and the characters wonderful.

Dropped from 4 to 3 stars due to the ridiculous last chapter. An otherwise enjoyable read.

Child is back to his best this time!

Perfect book to read outloud to a five year old. We both loved it!

Part memoir, part nature survey, Amy describes her climb to sobriety against the stunning backdrop of the Orkney Islands.

5 stars for writing, 3 for the story which just makes no sense. Worth reading for the writing alone though.

Nowhere Man, nowhere near as good as Orphan X. The author resorts to boring tropes, and there is no pace. The sole saving grace was the final 1/4 which zippped along. I won't bother to read any more of this series, which is sad because Orphan X was fun.

An unexpectedly beautiful story. One of my top books of the year. Loved it.

I'm so sad to see the end of this fantastic series. I hope the author returns to this world soon.

Beautifully written, but too far out there for me. Moments of stunning beauty surrounded by a lot of “huh”?

Paige is a wonderful, strong but complex heroine, her world is believable, yet immersing. I look forward to more books from this author.

Very cleverly written, I love how the author teased little bits out of the story here and there, wee clues to the ending.
