Nice collection of three well written novellas. I liked these so much I might forgive Grisham for Rogue Lawyer.
Blissfully cerebral! I might actually reread this one just to experience the excellent writing one more time.

Don't let the cutesy, cozy cover fool you! One masterful tale of triumph over adversity that simultaneously teaches and amuses the mind. Like Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, this book radically changed my perception of a people group. Fell brilliantly explores the fine line between assistance and infantilism.
Fell's characters are so vivid! My mind absorbed this book almost like a true story. I am left with a precious hope for Arlo - as if he is really here in our world.
Explicit warning: a few sex scenes and several F bombs.
Interesting, but I was totally confused by the two Leo characters. Was Hannah real? Was she Leo's muse all along? I had theorized that Hannah was a policeman posing as a famous author to draw out a confession from angry, racist Leo. When the Cain/Will/Marigold storyline ended, I expected the finale of the Leo/Hannah storyline. What did I miss?
Just confused.
The description did not specify that this was a serial killer story. If it had, I would not have purchased (just my preference).
Not for me. The male characters are misogynistic generalizations with no redeeming qualities. At one point, Kubica begins to describe one of the male characters as “not a monster,” then dialogs him as monstrous. Two stars as the plot is well-developed and the end is interesting.
This is a deeply moving set of essays. Well-written, but should be taken in small doses - some of the essays (i.e. Kauai ‘o ‘o) are incredibly sad. All are fascinating and attest to John Green's masterful ability to put words to the most intangible experiences of humans.
A sweet coming-of-age story with the most stunning writing and endearing characters I have read this year. The audiobook offers outstanding narration with distinct, consistent voices for each unique character.
Didn't realize this was in the “horror” genre. I skipped large portions that were too grotesque for my tastes.
Barely finished. Anti-American themes mixed with distorted characterizations of conservatives/Christians.
Couldn't finish. The meddling grandmother, the misogynistic sheriff- I felt like I was reading a daytime soap opera.
One of the most original and twisty plots I have ever read! Outstanding thriller with history and sci-fi! Well-written with no shortage of creativity!
I'm ok with strong feminist themes, but the chapter dedicated to mocking different types of penises was just stupid and hateful. The author has a undeniable talent, but this book was confusing, slow and depressing.
