It was slow and hard stay interested in it, but I also disliked the villain so that probably had a lot to do with it.
I couldn't finish this book, I was so bored. I really didn't care how the characters did.
I have so many issues with this book. If a woman is unconscious, she can not give consent. This is dnf for me, 6 chapters in and she just beginning to think about her kid after 2 months.
I received a free copy from Netgalley for an honest review.
I thought that this story was well written. I had never heard of this case before I read the book, but I believe the author did a wonderful job of telling this story.
It was good
It was good. I thought there would be more conflict than there was. A bit anti-climatic. It was a quick read.
I thought this would be interesting, however I just found it a bit blah. Within the first few pages, I decided I didn't need this version.
It's a very different take on the Wizard Oz. But over 300 pages in and I reached a point to where I couldn't read any further. I became bored with it.
I really wanted to love this book, but some where around page 50 I lost interest and stopped around page 80. I also finished 3 others while reading this one.
Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for this arc. This was an interesting story about Mary Shelley's early years. I love Frankenstein and this was an interesting take on Mary Shelley's life.
I really wanted to like this book and I was looking forward to reading it, but it was so boring. The author jumped around from the 90's to the 40's back to the 90's then to the early 2000's. Back and forth in any book or movie gets on my nerves. It was hard to stay interested, I wish the author had laid the story out better.
This book was very hard to get into. I found myself putting it down repeatedly. The story line did not make me care for the characters.
It's basically a retelling of the first book but with the boy being human and the girl being the vampire (with different names). I had hoped that it would be the story of the daughter from book 4, it wasn't. I am glad I borrowed it from my local library.
Its horrible. If you like Saturday Night Live you might this. I know it's a parody, but it has to much jr high humor.
