Very good self help book for all kinds of artist old and new. I would suggest anyone read it.

As a professional musician with a love for modern music history, I was hoping to learn a lot from this book. I did learn a lot and enjoyed the stories that Ted had about his time as a producer. My major issue is that there is too much information and makes the reader very overwhelmed with the amount of info to digest. If you are needing a book to reference for a paper, this is an excellent choice. But if you want to know to rock n roll history, feel free to skip around the different chapters.

A chance to see the inner workings of Van Halen through the eyes of Alex really brings to light what Alex and Ed went through growing up. An excellent read if you enjoy Van Halen or just a fan of music.

Fun book that I would suggest to anyone wanting to learn more about hip-hop/rap and its history.
