Infuriatingly Funny

I don't know what to say. This book is nothing like I've read before. One minute you are laughing and loving the book and the next you are hating it. Read it. You'll definitely be entertained.

Outstanding

I wanted to like this book more, but I didn't. The book portrays two courageous women, yet I felt they lack courage at almost every opportunity.

Decent story and well-paced and yet undeniably predictable. I did feel the ending was a bit rushed. Still worth a read on the beach.

Not so awesome. I was expecting more horror.

Lots in this little book. I suggest you read it.

What a terrific terrific autobiography. I didn't know much about Brandi until this book and I'm so glad that I decided to listen to her story. What is so lovable about this is that she sprinkle some of her songs throughout.

Wished I had read a spy short instead of romance short.

I listened to this book with high expectations: multiple narrators, compelling premise and relatively short. This book disappointed me. It started strong, but lost its way. I was unable to keep track of the characters who all seemed superficial and petty. I guess they never found the secrets of happiness.

I gave this book 5 stars because I could relate to quite a bit in this book. I look forward to reading more books this author writes

I really enjoyed this audio book. Although it is 15 hours long, the richness of the prose and the narrator was simply superb. You felt like you were on the farm, getting dusty and hot. This author has a gift and she uses it well. Highly recommend this book.

WOW - I loved, loved, loved this audio book. Octavia was a brilliant writer. Her descriptions of events and situations are spectacular.

There are plenty of reviews to tell you what this book is about so I don't need to. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book.

A great story of triumph, perseverance, humility and fear. The writing was very good and surprisingly non-repetitive considering the nature of the book: sick, better, sicker, better, sick, sick, better, sick, better and better, then sick again.

Lots of lessons to learn from the author. Live in the moment seems to be the one that resonances with me.

What an awesome audio book. If you have a road trip coming, this would make for an excellent companion. The characters are rich, the scenes vivid, the humor just right and the pace perfect. I didn't want this book to end.

There's no doubt that this author is very talented. There's no doubt that the subject of this book is exciting and mysterious. I wish that the author could've created more tension more suspense more the creep factor.

I watched the Netflix movie first and then I listened to the audio. The two have quite a few differences.

A lovely story about perseverance, grit and staying true to your dreams. And redemption. Loved it.

This book did not make much sense at all.
