This is perfect for Midnight read...6 stories with real life haunting places makes it more interesting and the background music which is a brilliant idea while reading makes the stories more spooky
I don't know what to say about this, loved the writing style of the auther, but the story is so weak that feels like quitting the read...there is horror elements but they seem completely random and the revealing the culprit part is very bad. Book is more concentrated about human nature and behaviours rather than it's story..
2.5*
Ravanputr Meghanad, I think the title should have been just Meghanad, since Ravan is so weak and dumb in this book..not only Ravan apart from Meghanad and Prameela every other characters are made to look weak so Meghanad could be considered strongest...I am not even referring to Ramayana, the other characters just don't have impact on this story.
The author says in the disclaimer ‘this is not a book based on Ramayana'..I thought it would be different story with Meghanad at its center, but it's just Ramayana(a little changes here and there) with Meghanad at it's center.
A meticulously researched exploration of spirit worship in Karnataka and Kerala, delving into its rich history and captivating tales from the region. As someone from this area, reading these stories evokes a deep sense of nostalgia. This book is an ideal choice for anyone eager to learn more about spirit worship and the enchanting folktales of South India.
The book has a good meaning for Life, Love, Dream, Passion, but the story seems to be ok ok ... it's like reading a boring story along with some really good life lessons
The Audio and Production quality were great, but the stories were ok ok...apart from 2/3 stories every other stories have the same flow.
Boring....
You can guess the ending from first 30% of the story, no use reading full book.
Only thing I guessed wrong was thinking Avigyan killed Debolina and committed suicide himself...and other than Agni no other character has any strength in the story, you can neglect every one except Agni and you still miss nothing.
This book is just not to my taste...I am so bored by the mid section that I just finished it by skipping pages after pages...the description of the book says avout a duel...what is the duel? Where is the duel? Nothing is explained and they just fell in love!!!!! What the fuck they were training for 14years then!!! And the magic system, how and why is there such a magic system in a normal world??? Everything is magic in the circus that nobody cares to explain how the magic existed in the first place.... seriously I fed up with it and giving it hardly 1star.
I have to be careful not to fall for the majority audience opinions from now...
I would have given it 5 star, if I haven't read the first book just before this. Same predictable story, but the storytellling is next level, and the ending is so satisfying...
The story is good...but the tag for the book “ Never Ever Become Too Friendly With The Inmate” kinda ruins everything...you will know most of the twists and turns from way before and the MC is dumb for most of the plot. But still the Author's writing style kept me to read till end.
I would like to give 5star to the diary and 3star to the whole story ... honestly I skipped after the diary ends...
Great work
I am wondering, why this is not a fully fledged novel...I am eager to know what happened after this and before this. This is the first time I came across this author and would love to read mord of his works
Unexpected twists in the end..still somewhere in your mind you feel like this is too much...
Captivating story of with mystery and politics. Loved the interaction between two generations. Concluding with combination of real journalism and Internet journalism was great...
Loved the storytelling, but hated the anticlimactic ending...irritates me when the villain of the story wins in the end..
A couple were discovered lying on their own blood inside a closed room, who/why/how are the questions need to be answered. The detective who answers all those questions at the end of the story.
A classic Closed room Murder mystery, where whatever you're theory is, the ending surely will surprise you.....loved it!!
A really good heart warming story.
But I didn't like the ending that much, little disappointed.
The best book I have read so far...truly a LEGEND...the emotions you feel while you read this book are so fulfilling and heartwarming...it's like you're with the MC throughout whole story experiencing all the emotions he is having...Must Read
It's a decent read, the characters in the book are lovable and completely relevant but the detective part is kinda flat.....not so interesting.
