I am gonna read the whole manga this time and I don't think I'm ready

2021 Review:
This book was nothing and everything like I expected. But it surely was what I wanted it to be.

2023 Review:
So I read this as a buddy read and having read it before I was ready with all my annotation supplies. Well I think I went a little crazy trying to analyse this story, I truly felt like a conspiracy theorist.
The book lets you think you understand at least some part of it and then throws you for another loop.
If I described this book in three words, those would be:
- Desire
- Loneliness
- Spellbinding
These all come through in and from the main character, Samantha.

This book makes me realise that I don't particullay like romance in romance books. But romance in fantasy books where they're both about to die and its an enemy to lovers. YES just YES

I really looked forward to this book for a long time and it definitely did not disappoint.

I really liked the Murderbot character and their sarcastic manners. Also the relationships that were created that weren't expected were nice.

I just wanna read more. This plot is so confusing but also interesting, because the keep you in the dark with the characters.

This one of my first adventure into the adult thriller/horror genre, so I dont have many reference point.

But this book was great for beginners like me. It was very fast pased and had an Interesting premise.
I also liked the way it did not flip between pov's in a pattern, the pov always added to the feeling and movement of the story.

Idk what happenend but I did not like this book.

Loved this soooo much. You just don't read enough stories like this and I could resonate very much with this character. Loved the friendships and the dialogue.

I don't know how Alice Oseman creates these characters that I can relate so heavily to. There were moments in this book, not sad moments per se, where I just cried because I related so much to the characters.

Thank you for giving me a story like that.

I am going to predict this author will only give me 4 star minimum reads. The way I connect to these characters is just unreal. Like I had tears in my eyes from this little novella. I also loved that she used the perspectives of Victoria, Charlie and Oliver.

I have binge read all of these graphic novels (up til #4) in one night and if I needed to give one word that describes my feelings toward this series... OBSESSED I am absolutely OBSESSED. As a bisexual girl seeing a character that I can relate to this much is amazing. Thank you!
