This is the kind of book you need to digest. You want to understand all three of the main characters in both their flaws and strong points. The premise of this books is as complicated as it sounds, but the way the author wrote about each individual experience is exquisite and the raw representation I would like to see more of.
EXCUSE ME. EXCUSE ME. NO, NO ITS NOT GONNA END LIKE THIS. WTF NO. WHY. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GO ON NOW!??!?!?!?
This book makes me realise that I don't particullay like romance in romance books. But romance in fantasy books where they're both about to die and its an enemy to lovers. YES just YES
One of the better horror stories I read this year. It had such a great atmosphere and premise. I really liked it
Pierce Brown's writing just gets better and better. The feeling and theme in this book is just so strong and sweeping.

This is a character driven book, which is not something I go for. I stopped and almost DNF'd the book at the halfway point. Then I came back to it a couple of months later and found that annotating whilst reading the books was my saving grace.
This one of my first adventure into the adult thriller/horror genre, so I dont have many reference point.
But this book was great for beginners like me. It was very fast pased and had an Interesting premise.
I also liked the way it did not flip between pov's in a pattern, the pov always added to the feeling and movement of the story.
Yeah great idea, reading a play about grief when I am griefing. At least I found solace, or a mirror in the words.
I like this type of horror where we are in the mind of the crazy person and knowing it is an unreliable narrator
I really liked this book. It is different from other non fiction that I have read because of the correlation the writer makes. It gives us both an insight into het mind and shows us other ways to look at things that seem mundane or too large to handle. Here are a few of my favourite thing I took away from this book:
- fear and anxiety can seem like a blinding light, you can't look straight at it and it can feel overwhelming. But the moment you filter that light through a filter/prism the colorwaves split and become a rainbow which is much easier to decipher.
- you can look at proteins to see how being different can help you in groups and society as a whole. I really liked this take and now I know what kind of protein I am most like
Informative but ar times very dense with information. I really liked the many examples that were given
The fact that I needed an audiobook to get through this short book is crazy to me. Still very gay
I really liked overanalysing this book. I've been wanting to read this for soooo long!!!
I am crying and trying to put my thoughts into words. Funnily enough I can't translate how this book made me feel. All I know is that I loved these characters, although they were flawed and complicated. I just loved the care for detail, history and feeling that was put in this book. Yeah I need to sleep now.
DNF @ page 105
I just can't with the writing style and am just not connecting to the book
Loved this soooo much. You just don't read enough stories like this and I could resonate very much with this character. Loved the friendships and the dialogue.
