I could have given it 5 stars but the end of the book looks like if the writer stopped writing for a long time and then came back, is not very coherent and it seems more like another book.
HORRIBLE! I couldn't manage to finish this book. I only read a 31%. It makes me feel bad not finishing a book but I just couldn't.
This is definitely the saddest book I have ever read, although I really love it, specially I loved all the music reference that Murakami's does.
I loooveee this book. It has story with me because I lost it for about 3 years, I was willing to get it again when it found my way, I was so happy to get it back, I totally love it.
Decepcionante, Lisbeth se supone es una antisocial, en este libro tiene demasiados sentimientos. No me gusta.
I just tried to give this book a chance. But I couldn't go beyond chapter 5. It was boring and uninteresting.
Nothing really happening, I didn't wanted to keep reading just to see if something was going to happen, a plot is supposed to tie you to your seat because it is appealing, it has actions and suspense. This was just plain boring.
De esta trilogía el mejor sigue siendo el primer libro, pero amé el final de Nadia y Alexander
It was pretty good, although I was hoping for other type of ending. Was a fast reading.
At the beginning I really liked the plot how it was developing and that kept me reading non-stop, at the second half of the book the enigmas and how the characters were solving the problems begun a little monotonous and by the end of the book I didn't liked the denouement. It was ok, but meh.
Muy buena lectura para los que le gustan los libros donde no pasan muchas cosas, sencillo, muy buenas descripciones. Increíble el Sr. Furlong.
Gosh, it was so tiresome reading this. It was over dramatic, and in some passages I didn't even know what was happening.
I really wanted to like this one cause it really has potential, but I don't think I like Azumah's writing style. It's a shame cause the plot REALLY has potential.
2.5
I started to read this book because it was on a ‘Halloween's favorite' list. I don't know why, I expected so much from this book, it had the perfect recipe to be a good book. But then the author really fails at creating rising actions or any plot at all.
It's basically the protagonist rummaging the house and its surroundings. Nothing really happening besides the weird dreams.
The author is all about the looks of the protagonist but I don't feel it comes to any point really. Characters lack background story, one doesn't really connect with any of them.
The book turns itself to be long and soooo boring, until at least the last 3 chapters (out of 27) where some action happens.
I fell in love with this book.
Julia Alvarez wrote in 1990 what we are writing now.
I loved every single page of it.
