First I didn't even realize this book was the third book in an interconnected series which to me is an a testament of how good this book was just as a standalone because I'm someone who always needs to read the first book in any series because I get nervous I'm going to miss out on something but I didn't feel like I missed anything but was absolutely more curious about how the other two books play out so I will be adding them to the TBR
This book had me giggling and kicking my feet while also tugging on my heartstrings and making me tear up a couple times! Ezra and Bries (bed
This series as a whole was very good! I loved every twist in turn and following the characters struggle. This book was darker compared to the other books. This book was more of an action packed undercover agent book in the first half of the book. The greek mythology was a very interesting aspect of the book. I felt a little bad about Jace just being in the in-between for so long I feel like maybe everything with him should have been done in the first part before the second part just because he really doesn't come back and i understand El didn't want him to go but keeping him like that for almost a year just to have him die anyways seemed a bit dragged out. I personally would have loved to see him come back and maybe join the guys on the mission to save Coop and get to see him be kickass. It would have been sad to see him with someone else, but I think I personally would have preferred it over him actually choosing to die. I also could be super bias as I am definitely a Jace girly. Again over all really liked this series a lot and have fun reading it. I'm not sure if there is going to be a spin off but I'd love to see how El's boys end up...I would love to see Mac and (maybe) Tiff?! Maybe see how Alec and she who will not be named end up just cuz I'd love to see everyone's happy ending and also see how Coop and Alec run the new Bainbridge sector. Also love to see El and Coop and the kids more.
Woah what a freakin roller coaster of emotions! What a beautiful sequel. Easton is such a beautiful character as well as Natalie and they just fit so well almost like a puzzle. I don't know how Kate writes these books but I definitely see a full blown movie when I read her stories. I heard someone recently say that the grand gestures in books is going away...well I'm so happy it's still alive and well with this book because it made me swoon and happy ☺️ the little Nate and Reid moment was everything. This might not have wrecked me as bad as Exodus but at one point in this book it had me doing laps on my basement because I hurt for Easton and Nat- probably one of my favorite series just side by side with The Ravenhood Series. Also side note is our lovable Benji going to get a book at all or was he just a little hint for the Ravenhood series?
