Really annoying heroine (really? you accept a bracelet from your fuckbuddy? the one that you're in love with but you don't have the balls to tell? the same man that told you βwe're just friends with benefitsβ? Worst H. ever, by the way.
A waste of time and money (the book and the bracelet)
I used to love Samantha Young's work ...NOT ANYMORE.
Never again
OMG!
βI am a person,β she said very quietly and intensely. βI am Jane Matthews, my lord. There is only one of me. I am unique. To you I may appear to be no different from hundreds of other drab, aging females. But I am a person, not a commodity, not a footstool. Perhaps you do need a woman to look after your home and your children and to provide you with an heir. Perhaps I would contribute to your comfort. But what about me? What am I to gain from such an arrangement? I am not a servant for hire. I am an independent person, and my happiness mattersβat least to me.β
Love this one!

I saved this one for a year or so in order to read it in moments of need. I always do it with Colleen and Tarryn's books. Every time I lose my faith in love and humankind I look for one of their books to fall in love like a teenager again, with all my heart.

Disgusting.
The hero is a John who likes his whores young.
The heroine an assistant by day/dancer-stripper by night (nothing wrong in that).
The heroe/John/boss is also a widower with a son who is only three years younger than the heroine.
Maybe I'm getting older and a bit sour but the story I would like to read is how the son and the heroine fall in love and give the John a lesson. Hea.
