Just like the rest of the series, which is a compliment. I loved the hostile witness scene. The deleted scenes (which are a new touch) manage to mock not only a great many other writers, but this writer as well.
Some content is not appropriate for all readers. I had to skip several pages, for one reason or another.
I was glad I read it, to finish the series, but it wasn't the same as the rest of the series. It was more... mystical, perhaps. At any rate, it was different enough to create a feeling of disorientation for me.
Yet again, all the teasing forshadowing is perfectly clear only in retrospect. The morbid humor is also highly quotable.
This is the book I wanted the original EI book to be. Instead of just talking about how important EI is, it actually gives ideas for improving your EI skills.
I skipped the first story, since I tried that series & didn't care for it, but I liked the other 3 stories. I think Senneth's was much more bare than her novel, though.
