Dont know if this is a fair criticism, but this was quite the boring book for me. All the characters were cliches or plainly unlikable. This felt like the worse version of a bad netflix horror.

Answered a promptWhat books did you learn most from?
I really did not enjoy some major parts of this book. The main couple didn't seem like they belonged together, and their interactions were very fetishistic (which may be a plus for some people) for some reason the main character's logic contradicts herself multiple times. Like she hates someone and in the next two lines she has a change of heart? It happens with basically all the male characters that are not her father (who doesn't have a name apparently). All that is to say, this is not for me. I enjoyed the last quarter more than the rest of the book, this author has a good vocabulary and prose..I might read the next one eventually.
