I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did. It did lack some dialogue on how they fell in love. It was pretty much getting married and doing some stuff together and oh we are in love.
But, I did really like it. Both Aida and Callum where fun characters and I liked all the side characters too.
Caught myself while reading at work more then once!
Ik had echt even twijfels over dit boek terwijl ik het aan het lezen was. kwam er vrij slecht doorheen, toch heb ik er echt heel erg van genoten!
Honestly, looking back on the other two books. This one is the only one that deserves the 5 stars that I gave. Even though I really enjoyed both books. Zahra was too immature for my liking and I loved the second book, but this one just has more plot and a better story line.
Watching cal struggle with his addiction was a roller coaster but it made the book a lot better.
Took me a month, no idea why. Loved it. But, I like TV-Show Clary more than book Clary!

Yeah no I upped my rating. We went from four stars to five stars. This book just does something to me. I fcking love tairn and where everyone has Xaden of Violet as fave characters, he's mine. Violet really is your typical main girl who is weak and fragile and she does a 180 to be soooo good, but I do like her snarky and sarcastic comments. Honestly, I'm just really excited for the second book

I adored this book. The writing style was easy and quick but not in a bad way
Need to admit that the romance wasn't really there until it happened. Not really a slow burn that is really present in the book, but very cute any way
I liked cat, she really shows what it is like to be a influencer and addicted to your phone all the time. It did make me realize some things. So this book also has a important message and I think it was necessary.

This was the first time listing to this book on audio. I've only read this book once before, but I remember that I thought it was very confusing. But, the audio made it so much better. It was quite clear from the beginning, and some things are really obvious reading it the second time around.

I did not love this book as much as I hoped. Kinda disappointed by the love interest because I wanted to be somebody from another realm. Writing wasn't my cup of tea but I did love shadow. Still going to read the second book since I have an e-arc for it
I loooooved this book. Really, binge read it in one sitting (did had to sleep). Riley from Riley Marie on Youtube mentioned it in one of her video's and I decided to pick it up. So, thank you, Riley, for giving me my new favourite book!

It took me a long time to finish this book. I was totally in love with the bargainer series by Laura, but this book lacks that extra spark that I loved in her other books.
Honestly, it was very predictable. It was pretty obvious what the ending was going to be like since it was all they spoke about.
I put the book down for a good amount of days before I kinda had to force myself to get trough it.
Honestly, I did like it. There where some parts that really made the book better, but it also felt like there was too much information we didn't need.
First of all, besides the fact that I did not like it as much as I thought, this book needs to be read. This subject is so important and it happens more every day. It will not help you to survive on if you ever find yourself in a situation like this, but it might help you a bit. I live in the Netherlands, and for, as far as I know, it never happened here. That did not stop my parents from telling me to lie under a dead person and cover myself with their blood to look death. It sounds terrifying and you don't want to go through something, but it does happen.
I did not like the book. I don't like multiple P.O.Vs and I did not like the flashbacks. I just wanted to read about a school shooting (okay this sounds bad) and the things the people went through (it keeps sounding worse and worse). I personally thought the whole ‘oh we went through this with that and that person' wasn't necessarily. The reason that I wanted to read this book was to read about a school shooting and, if I ever found myself in one, keep this book in mind to have a bit of help. The rest of the book was pretty good. The storyline was well written and I liked mostly all of the characters. You could tell that Marieke did some research because it all felt like there was done some research.
I do think you should read the book, besides all my complaining. The subject matters and this book is just well written!
I really feel like this cover made the book look really childish, but it wasn't. Yes, it had some explicit spicy scenes, but the rest of the book felt more ya. I did really like it tho, but this book deserves a cover that matches it more.
Leuke boeken, gaat een beetje ‘snel'. Oh en +5 boeken, ook de wanhopig verliefd serie van lizzie van den ham nog een keer gelezen <3
Liked this book so much more then the love hypothesis. No cringy lines and childish behavior. Just grown ups doing grown up stuff. Much better
Don't know what to think of this. It was kinda weird? But like not in a good way? But I also still enjoyed it enough to finish it
I'm not loving these novella's. just finishing them because they're like a 100 pages ‘so they're quick and I can make it trough 100 pages'
