Book two and onwards
O.M.G. What a glorious emotional roller coaster this book has been. Dex and his team's reaction to his antics have me laughing so hard I sound like I'm suffering the flu. If you're prone to tears, have a box of tissues with you because I bawled my eyes out during the sad moments. An excellent read and am looking forward to the third book.
What an excellent tearful ending to an amazing series. To watch the characters grow, fail, pick themselves up and move forward has been a joyously emotional journey. As much as I'll miss them, I'll never will whenever I revisit all of their stories yet again. Thank you Jordan L. Hawk for one of my most favourite series I've had the pleasure to immerse myself into.
Heh. It seems like my reviews are a copy and paste but I never know what to say as I refuse to give spoilers. Enjoyable with the usual mix of characters to love and characters one loves to hate. There is one point I'm not impressed about but I'll reserve my opinion until I've read book 3 and, maybe book 4.
Riding the read...
Enjoyable emotional roller coaster requiring tissues if you're inclined to cry. I had to stop reading (due to falling asleep and needing food) but I didn't want to. I love the characters Joss and Troy and the supporting cast. There were a few typos but nothing too dramatic. A good, quick read.
Different but interesting
The write-up intrigued me but I wasn't expecting the way the story was laid out. I enjoyed it and didn't want to put it down when I had no choice. While, for me, not necessarily and on-the-edge-of-the-seat read, I devoured this as quickly as I could. I'll be hunting up the next in the series.
