This is the third haunting book I've read by this author and I like how each are different so far. I liked the characters and the storyline and how it had me on the edge of my seat. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Well this one had me on the edge of my seat more. Give me this style of scary read than the hack and slash in your face type of gory stories. If the house had have been mine, I would have been peeved over the main character's actions but she is why we have the story in the first place. I enjoyed it.
I also enjoyed the short story at the end as well. Except, I couldn't tell the gender of the main character but lent towards it being a possible teenage or slightly younger boy.

Not really spooky/scary but still a good read. Bit of a tear jerker for me in spots but I had more sympathy for the ghosts in this story than I did in The Flip. I hope there will be more in this series as I like the setting and the recurring characters.

Not really a scary story but the suggestive suspense was okay. Might have been more so if I'd read this at night. Didn't like the secondary character called Tessa, at all. Other than that, an enjoyable read to pass the time.

This is a review for the audio book version. This is the first from this author I had read and there isn't much I can say about this story. As an emotional person, I sympathised with the main character and what he was going through. Due to what the story was about, I don't know if I can say it was an enjoyable read but I will read it again and if I don't own the ebook, I will certainly be buying it.

This review is for the audio book version. Having seen the two movies of this story, I had to get the book. For when this was written (1959??), the suggestive scariness would have had tensions high. While reasonably written, in my opinion, this story makes a better movie to carry that suspense.

What an excellent tearful ending to an amazing series. To watch the characters grow, fail, pick themselves up and move forward has been a joyously emotional journey. As much as I'll miss them, I'll never will whenever I revisit all of their stories yet again. Thank you Jordan L. Hawk for one of my most favourite series I've had the pleasure to immerse myself into.

This was actually the first in the series I had read and I truly enjoyed it. It was the first time I had read something like this and therefore surprised myself with how much I did like the story. Naturally, I then had to go back and start getting the rest. Unfortunately, I have only read it once and the only thing I remember is that I enjoyed it.
