Very reminiscent of the Dead Poets Society: it's all fun and games in the beginning and then BOOM ✨depression✨

Obviously on the technical aspect it's a 4 but on the entertainment level it's a 2 1/2 — BUTTT it was so worth it for this quote: “Pause you who read this, and think for a moment of the long chain of iron or gold, of thorns or flowers, that would never have bound you, but for the formation of the first link on one memorable day.”
This is how my girl Cassandra Clare WISHES she wrote faerie lol — LOVE how whimsical and fun and political and badass this book was

Timeless horror masterpiece. Literally had me kinda scared to fall asleep. Lowkey felt like I was getting gaslight too. I am thoroughly creeped out, I thought. And stopped in wonder at the thought...

I want to spend a day in Neil's mind because I imagine it's like being in a midsummer night's dream — so whimsical and fun and adventure
