What a book!
I am giving it 5 stars, but I am not sure what to feel... this story has so many ups and downs... so many raw and interesting reflections. It is a book about loss, trust, love, and friendship.
It is a dystopia genre, but it is also a complicated love story. Generally, relationships are not easy to deal with. In this world, without conventional rules, they get worst. Especially the relationships between two friends!
Here we also discover a loss of your identity or what you believe you once were.
I can't explain how many things this book has!
It was a terrifying read and also really entertaining.
Wow! This was a long book, and I still need to finish the 3rd one. However, the story is interesting and really dynamic. I am enjoying a lot!
This is such an amazing book. I love all the stories and the world.
Usually I don't like stories of pirates an ships, however there is something about this story that makes me want to read more and more.
This was so beautiful and perfect book!
The plot and the characters were amazing. So happy that I could finally read this one :)
This was a really great book!
Why not 5 stars, because I have some issues with this book! Yes, I know... I must be in minority here, but let's get into it!
First of all... I didn't like the relationship between Hunt and Bryce, it was too sexual for my taste. I was here for the fantasy but received a lot of weird moments between these two characters. However it gets a little better by the end, but personally, it wasn't right for me.
The second problem, I didn't like Bryce... I know that she is still an amazing friend, and some people like to hate her. But her personality was too confusing and I didn't understand some decisions that she made.
The third problem was the language. I don't mind some cursing, but sometimes here I felt that it was a little forced. Also, for me, it felt a little underwhelming and spoiled some of the more intimate moments.
And lastly, more than half of the book is just a build-up, a lot of sexual tension, and characters going one way then another. I don't think it is a bad thing but at some point, I realized that I had no interest in their “adventure” nor their “romance”.
All these things were kinda forgotten by the end! I mean, the last 300 pages were soooo amazing! The story, the love, the idea! I almost forgot my problems about the first part of the book and I analyzed better all the ideas and some things made sense. (I still didn't like Bryce though)
In spite of everything, I usually classify the book by my experience and I didn't have 5 stars experience through the book, so that is why I can't give it 5 stars. But with an end so strong I also couldn't give 3 stars here. Not to mention the world, which is so big and creative that it saved the book quite a bit.
And not to forget that this book introduced me to Hunt... who I loved so much!
This was fun, cute and had a lot of angst! The characters felt real and I loved to see their evolution through the book.
I think it is almost a perfect book for my taste, 2nd chance romance and a really slow burn. If these are your tropes, go for it.
This wasn't a bad book, but not for me. I enjoyed some parts, but honestly I am not a big fan of sea adventure. Also, this should be just one book, not 2. The first one ends on a big big big clifhanger.
This book was the best for now! really enjoyed the story and all the unfortunate events that the kids went through. I also like a lot the narrator and the way he is always makes side notes. This notes are about some words and expressions. As english is not my first language it is fun to descover some new words and expressions. I belive that this is an amazing book for kids!!
I love fantasy and sci-fi, but I also enjoy it when there is a real thing and thought put in the story. Neal Shusterman was able to give something realistic and fascinating at the end of this trilogy.
We continue to explore the idea of mortality and immortality in this last book, and it is still fascinating. Definitely, this trilogy is one of the best YA sci-fi that I've ever read! Excellent story and brilliant ending!
I just loved and hated this book, and it was amazing!

4.5 stars
This book is a great adventure! It reminded me of some good old high fantasy books.
This is a world where all the magic can be stored in the books. Here books are like some kind of living things. We follow the path of an apprentice librarian - Elisabeth, whose primary goal is to protect the books from the Sorcerers. All her life the library taught her that Sorcerers are evil and they use demons-salves to conjure magic. One night, she woke up and one of the books was transformed into the monster. This monster kills the director of the library and then wants to kill the people of nearest village. of opening the book, because she already had a bad past. And she is sent to Sorcerers to be judged! From that part an on her adventure beggins!
As I said this is a book of fantasy and adventure. Of good and evil and all the gray areas. She realizes that sometimes evil is not evil and good is not good. And obviously she descovers that she is more that she though!
A great book! I honestly recomend it to people who like high fantasy :)
I am in shock! So many questions....
This was really good book! I liked dark atmosphere in here, I felt chills all the time.
This was awful and twisted story and honestly I still don't know who is the “good” guy and the “bad” guy... and I love that!
I have a lot of emotions right know!
This book is not simple nor it has an amazing story. For me, it has an interesting message and I wanted to know what the writer wanted to say and not how the story will progress. I know that this story is an extreme example but there are a lot of connections between our world and Orwell's world.
I recommend this to those who like complex reading, also to those who enjoy a good book about social and governmental manipulation.
I had so much fun with this book! This was a great adventure with so much action! This is more fantasy than romance book.
A narrativa é simples e envolvolvente.
I loved the story! It tries to show us a interesting perspective on musicians and their addictions during the 70's.
Hmm it was worst than 2 first books... it was all about love and not the story! Great for teenagers
3.5 stars!
Really generic romance!
We have Hazel who is super crazy and free-spirit. And we have Josh who was educated to be quiet and collective. These two people collide in University and their interactions are...well not good! Hazel is always clumsy when she is with Josh!
After university, they meet again and develop an interesting friendship. They obviously don't want to date, because of their interactions in the past.
Obviously, they will not succeed!
It was interesting to see their interactions and relationship development. It's a beautiful slow burn, and frends-to-lovers romance!
