TW: molestation, rape, prostitution, attempted murder, mental abuse

Very tough topics being talked about in this book. From living the childhood trauma, going through life with the scars, to finally revealing the who has and their deeds.

“On the one hand, was but a servant, a
woman who provided him companionship when he wished it. On the other hand, she was Eleena. His Eleena.”

“Safta always says, the Holocaust didn't start with actions - it started with words, and I have seen how dangerous such words can be.”

I went into this book thinking it would be a Christmas read, only to find out the only Christmassy thing is a ball.

Other than that a very enjoyable read. There were some parts on Charmed that could've been shorter.

The Playboy Prince was good once the plot moved along.

Super cute read. Never underestimate the power of small dogs and determination!

Premise was good, but around the 75% marker it just got boring.

The back and forth can really get tedious...

That ending though

Like a very bland meal also very confusing at times. Contemplated DNF'ing it.
Characters didn't do it for me either.

The book might've been better had it not been for Hessa being captured that much.

Began very slow - around the 100 page mark the pace picked up.

Very repetitive.
I know the book focuses on Cara and Sandra's problems, but not even halfway through it got a bit too repetitive. I nearly DNF'ed it halfway through.

Ventress deserved better

This was unexpectedly good. The character growth was on point.

DNF @ 80-ish %.

Dragon shifter romance is just not my thing..

Bit of a prequel to AC: Revelations.
We get to know what happened to Altaïr after the main game.

SORCHA IS THE REAL MVP

“I love you. I've loved you from the beginning. And I will love you long after the last stars dies. I will love you until the end of darkness itself.”
- Des

I am Desmond and Callie trash

also how is that last epilogue OKAY

We get to know what happens with some of the characters from Dragon Age: Origins, and how Cole from Inquisition originated.

I've been dying for a good vampire romance. This was chefs kiss

Happy family reunions!!

The golden era of dystopian young adult. The book is so much better than the movie.

With all the back and forth between Gabriel and Julianne, this book reminded me of Anna Todd's After-series.
This book is told in multiple PoV, but mostly Gabriel's.
Also all the text in the parenthesis were unnecessary.
I probably won't read the fourth book and accept this as the end.
