I did like this story, i just wish it would have been scarier. The Winter People is still my favorite from Jennifer McMahon!

This kept me wanting to keep reading, but it literally took forever to get to anything creepy or weird.

What an excellent novel for being a debut! Marcellus is my favorite character. It was a bit boring in the middle but the ending made up for it.

I would have given this 5 stars but it was a bit of a struggle to get through the story at the halfway point; However I will say I will never look at puppets the same way again. This was definitely the first book I have ever read where the antagonist is a hateful deranged puppet thirsty for vengeance.

I read this really fast. I saw the ending coming with this one, which usually I don't with Reid's work; but as always I had to keep reading.

The ending felt like a fever dream to me. This is my 2nd Rachel Harrison read and I'm quickly becoming a fan.

I Loved this one! It was Pet Sematary meets a mystery vibes. This is my second read from Jennifer McMahon and I am falling in love with how she writes such relatable and loveable characters.
I HIGHLY recommend this one, especially if you loved Pet Sematary.

This was most definitely weird. I love the way Sara Gran's writing makes me want to keep reading. I would have liked to read more about the occult and the demonic aspect of the book, but I had a fun time with this one.

I loved this. It was a weird, wonderful mix of women empowerment with some truly terrifying imagery.

This was a great sequel to chasing the Boogeyman. It had some terrifying scenes but it also made me crack up. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
