This is a nice little mysterious adventure story that could be a great episode of Star Trek, The Orville or Stargate. Probably not something you gonna reread, since its strength is the mystery and trying to piece together wtf is going on. If you are going to read this, do yourself a favour and don't read anything about it, take and afternoon or two and enjoy a mystery.

Well, leaving behind the entire cast and introducing a new one for the second time did not do the book any favours.

Brando Sando can do no wrong. This is just a fun read. Yeah technically it should not be 5 stars but I enjoyed it like a 5 star book.

There was a very long stretch in the middle of the book were everyone was just treading water that took the fun out of it.
Otherwise good but not as great as malice.
