Wasn't going to do volume 6 but then the cliffhanger hit at the end of volume 5 and....

Best one in the series so far. Really found interesting the tie-in to Ireland lore, made perfect sense to tie Nita and Kit into this universe.

Great story showing a ton of imagination. Well written with believable characters and story lines.

There is potential in the story but it's a lot like other books in this genre. I may give Volume 2 a shot at some point, see where the story goes if it shows up on Kindle Unlimited like this first volume did.

Very detailed recap of how nuclear power works and walk-throughs of every accident and disaster. Interesting stuff!

Something tells me that our new ‘dancing ship' allies are not quite what they seem.

Best book of the genre I've read since The Name of the Wind.

Great reference book, especially for new fans of the Classics, like me.

Pretty good story with interesting characters. Feels like parts are rushed or glossed over, however. Still, a fun read.

Moved the story along but the writing was a little off. Lots of characters “shrieking” and endless hyperbole, “More hyperbole than he'd ever used before.” Here's hoping volume 5 improves in this regard.

Although the language is R rated, it was a refreshingly new science fiction story, almost felt like science fact! Loved it, nice job.

Looking forward to book #4.

I want more!

A fantastic start to a military science fiction epic series! I can see now why people are always recommending these books. Great writing, interesting characters.

Very good continuation of the story. Leaves you on a cliff hanger tho! On to book 3 pronto.

Good story. Starting the next in the series.

2nd book of a trilogy. Takes a different approach from book 1 in that it is more of an outside-in look, but I liked the perspective. Good hard scifi, loved it. Book 3 up next!

A mix of first contact, initial space travel and The Lost Fleet, although not as expansive. Very good pacing and story development. Left me wanting to get Book 2 ASAP.

That was a great book, very entertaining and interesting. The story seemed to wander at times until I remembered that this was a chronicle, not a story.

Definitely over the top but the story was compelling, kept you interested to the end.

Interesting following the story of what the amulets can do, but the violence is over-the-top and often feels like filler.

It didn't end quite they way I'd expected but kept me glued right up until the end. Good read for Star Wars.

After slowing down in the middle, the last quarter really set out some interesting new story lines. Very much looking forward to digging into Book 2 of this series.

I remember reading this as a high schooler and thinking that it was some of the most difficult reading I'd attempted up to that point. After this epic novel, I returned to lighter fare.

This has been such a good magazine over the years. I started reading back in the 80's on the farm.
