3.5 stars.
This book was the epitome of “It's so bad it's great.” The plot made zero sense, but I still enjoyed my time with it. Maybe it's the weird humor.
This was kind of boring.
I got this from my library's humor shelf, and was unfortunately disappointed with the book.
“I don't know. It doesn't make sense to me, but whatever, I'm not going to question it.”
My experience with this book.
Because I've been thinking about this book a lot, I've decided to bump this one to 5 stars.
I am finally caught up with this series and I am so happy to have read this installment in the Singing Hills Cycle. It's one of my favorites for sure.
I enjoyed this novel. It took me some time to get through it, but overall this was a great experience.
4.5 stars.
I had a great time with this one. The narration was great and I learned so much about the life of a magician, the purpose of magic tricks, and as the title indicates why magic matters.
This book was such a mixed bag. It started of very promising and somewhere in the middle it kind of lost me. The atmosphere was great, but the character of Vera didn't really sork for me.
