This was good, but I feel like the epilogue should have been the prologue…. It didn’t make sense to me for that to be at the end. I hope this is the beginning of a series. This was a quick easy read. Would definitely make a good read for Halloween time.

If you’re drawn to tales brimming with cunning assassins, deep and fated mates, found families, rival kingdoms, and enchanting fae lore, Between Roses and Evergreens is sure to captivate your imagination and leave you craving more.

Just when I felt confident in my predictions, Hannah-Louisa skillfully upended them with unexpected twists that left me stunned. The tension is tangible on every page, urging me to keep reading, driven by an insatiable need to uncover each new secret and surprise. I was left with some questions that I can’t wait to see if they’re answered in the next book or two!

“Savage Keepsakes” by Marla York features dual first-person perspectives and does not promise a conventional happy ending. The story delves into themes of darkness and hidden truths, building tension around Lucy pursued by a sinister, masked figure Billy her step uncle. The book blends psychological and physical terror, appealing to readers of gritty, intense gory horror stories.

This was probably one of the most bloody gory books I’ve ever read. I felt like I was in half an episode of Criminal Minds when it just tells you all about the killer. This definitely was not a traditional HEA. The 2nd epilogue was fascinating for sure. Overall, I definitely liked this book, if you’re into serial killers, blood & gore this book will definitely be your jam!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK. I waited so long to read this, from the first trope graphic I saw I said “yup, I need that in my life.” I was not wrong. Dee absolutely smashed it out of the park with this. I was consumed by this book from the dedication pages. Rio and Ivory where do I even start…

Rio and Ivory are the ultimate portrayal of true enemies-to-lovers, torn between rival families, and their tumultuous relationship is nothing short of mesmerizing. Dee has woven these characters into a symphony of raw intensity and depth, with each page capturing their evolution like a dance that is equal parts breathtaking and heartbreaking. For anyone who has ever loved with a ferocity that makes the thought of loss unbearable, this story will strike a chord straight to your soul.

Ivory is the embodiment of wit, courage, and unapologetic fire, while Rio—prepare yourself—is destined to be your next irresistible, morally grey obsession. Picture this: tall, dark, inked from neck to knuckles, exuding danger, and armed with a razor-sharp tongue that could cut glass. His relentless dedication to Ivory and his family had me spellbound from the start. And the way he handles those who dare threaten his world? Unflinchingly savage. The heat Rio brings? Simply god-tier, leaving sparks that linger long after the final page.

Thank you Dee for writing such an amazing masterpiece. It was absolute perfection.
