It's fine. I skimmed it, nothing entirely new, but good for new to homeschool people.

This was a useful read. The resource lists were not new information to me, but they are good ones. Even today (2022), the resources (1999) are still pretty relevant and reliable ones to choose.

This book, in poetic prose, is absolutely excellent. Kentucky mountainside horseback librarians, yes please.

I read this aloud to my almost-kinder child (Mermaid Warrior). It was fine, not amazing. There is another book about Sam I read in years past that I believe I enjoyed more. The local library owns this perma-bound book.

I feel sad after having read this picture book. The illustrations and prose are lovely. As a person from the southeastern United States of America, I'm not very familiar with New Hampshire and this was a fascinating introduction. I read this book through inter-library loan.

It looks like I lost the ticket for this one before I typed up my review. I really enjoyed reading My Great-Aunt Arizona. I'm not sure if it was the local library or inter-library loan, but I wouldn't hesitate to read it again.

The illustrations are lovely and the vocabulary is great. I will look for this one to buy. We read this through inter-library loan.

Reading this makes me ever so homesick. As always Cynthia Rylant tells a beautiful tale. Barry Moser's illustrations in a square opposite Cynthia's words are lovely and vibrant. It is a good recommendation and I will want to add it to our library. We read this as an inter-library loan book.

This book was a waste of time. Beautiful illustrations, but the text was completely lacking. I've enjoyed Nikki Giovanni before, but this was not the book we were looking for sadly.

My daughter, Mermaid Warrior (5), absolutely adores these Obadiah books. I think I will have to let Santa know... as well as my Beautiful Feet Books link as well, inter-library loan will not suffice.

This is a gorgeous book. I'm not very familiar with Thomas Cole, but now I wish I was. I really would love to have a copy of this one.

A different read from Winter Danger with a lot more characters, but this one is more sad.

The read aloud video with John Lithgow is the only way to experience this book! This was included in the Summer Reading app from our local library for my fourth grader.

I listened to the on #libbyapp with my Princess (10). She gives it five stars. I enjoyed it, I really like Kallie George. I think we will go for the next book in the series, it looks like a 4-week hold.

My Princess (10.5) read this book aloud over several days. We found it by recommendation of TGTB Book List. My daughter loves cats and loves Mo Willems. The illustrations are excellent and the story is interesting.

The kid in question (7.5-year-old Rascal) gives her five stars, while the rest say 4-stars. They are not interested in my finding more of the series.
