I'm so happy I decided to read this series. Honestly, I'm obsessed with this world. The characters are amazing, funny and annoying. There are so many layers. Freaking loving it.
There are a couple of chapters that were a little slow, but I still wanted to keep reading it.
Can't wait to read the next one.

This book will probably stay with me for a very long time.
Hard to read. Very emotional, violent, and sad.

“He was bothered especially by the fact that he should be more upset about it than he was. And yet he wasn't. Somehow being here tonight, with a pastry box of tiramisu, felt strangely inevitable.”
I loved both Lizzie and Chris. Lizzie is a strong woman that just needs to escape all the pressure of being a Baron and to forget her family's expectations, especially her dad's, so she does forget it for one night with... Chris. I have to say I really liked the way the book started with Lizzie taking the pregnancy test, very original, I also liked that Chris thought she was going to tell him she had an STD and he needed to be tested, it felt realistic, I mean if a guy wears a condom, they usually don't think about a pregnancy even though it is possible, right? Lizzie's fear about not being a good mother also felt realistic due to what her own mother did and the fact that she couldn't stop thinking about her mother's reasons, to behave that way, added more depth to her fear.
The story was well paced and didn't feel like it was rushed. I enjoyed the way Chris and Lizzie tried to overcome their issues and fears. But I think the main story of what (or who...) the Barons will be facing ahead was given away too soon, it's totally guessable and that takes away the suspense of it.
Anyway, I recommend this book and I'll be looking forward to the next one of this miniseries. Go, Barons!

For a sports lover and a sucker romance like me, this book was PERFECT.
I love baseball so I really enjoyed Anna's struggle to fix the team's problems during the season. I also liked the main characters, both Anna and Zach were very solid and there was no unnecessary drama between them. The story was sweet and entertaining. I also totally loved Anna's grandfather, the way he tried not to swear around her was hilarious, he became one of my favorite character's right in the beginning of the book.
Unfortunately, and this is the reason why I'm not giving this book 5 stars, the ending seemed a little rushed. It's not that I couldn't understand Zach's decision, he always said it wasn't about the money and I think that decision showed his deep love for the Rockets, it just felt a little sudden.
Mindy Klasky managed to make me fall in love with the Rockets, so after finishing this review, I'll buy the first book of this series that I haven't read yet and I'll be definitely keeping an eye for her future books.

The first books I read, written by Lori Foster, were exactly the first two of the Buckhorn Brothers series, I couldn't help to read the whole series and to fall in love with every single one of her characters, even though Morgan was always my favorite. So, it was no surprise when I totally fell for Garrett too. One of the things I love about Lori Foster is how she totally manages the readers to love the characters she creates, it's really, really hard not to, despite the fact the book was a little too short. I just wanted more and more!
Zoey's arrival at the airport was absolutely hilarious, her relationship with Garrett was very steamy, I really liked that Garrett just couldn't resist her and how sweet they were together. I loved, loved, loved that we got a little bit of Morgan in the book too and I felt hooked with the sparks flying between Amber and Noel.
Just can't wait for Amber and Noel's story!

Interesting plot and a cute story but I've read a few very similar to this one. It's very hard to write an original story when there are several books out there about marriages of convenience. Still, a well written book, fast paced and easy to read. It goes without saying that I couldn't bring myself to like Leo which made Danniella the star of the book, a very persistent heroine with a funny personality. This was the first time I read a book by Kat Cantrell and I really liked the way she writes, so I'll probably read a few of her books even though I won't read more books in this series.

I've got a copy of Stupid Boy, book 2 of this series, through NetGalley and before I started reading I thought that I should check out Stupid Girl at least for some background, so I ordered it from Kobo. And that got me here in a large pool of mixed feelings.
I'm not saying I hated it because it's not true but I have to say that there might have been some annoyance while I was reading it. Why am I reviewing the book? Because this is probably the hardest review I've done so far and I just can't back away from it.
I actually loved how the book started, a raw and strong scene and it set my expectations really high for the book. And then not so many pages ahead, the first time Olivia and Brax met, or bumped, ruined my expectations. Because I can't quite understand how a girl who suffered what Olivia suffered, even though it's been a year, could date this guy after the whole I kissed you because “It was natural hot-blooded male gut instinct”. What? It just sounds off. Apart from that and the annoying thing she keeps doing regarding Brax's accent, I really liked Olivia, she stayed true to herself during the book, keeping her focus in her interests and even sharing the passion for astronomy with Brax. But Brax really ruined the book for me. I get that he came from a bad background, that he was marked by his past but I still can't understand all the violence. He was always black and blue and way too ready to throw his fists at anyone that crossed his path. I totally understand the scenes he beats up Kelsey but Noah and Ash? Please. I also think that the reason why Brax had to stay away from Olivia, was a little unrealistic, maybe even forced.
I also loved Olivia's grandpa and I really liked her roommate Tessa, especially her bluntness, it was definitely refreshing. So, going for book 2 and hoping it's better than Stupid Girl.

This is the second book of Cindy Mile's Stupid in Love series and I have to say I liked Stupid Boy more than I thought I would. And why? One name sums it up: Kane. I really, really loved Kane. At first, I was a little skeptic, due to a few stalker moves, but he turned out to be a strong male character and his actions through the book made sense considering his upbringing. Maybe, what made me like him even more, was the fact that he was completely different from Brax.
Both Harpers and Kane's childhoods were heartbreaking but perfectly described. The first pages of the book about their pasts, got me totally hooked and made me read it in one sitting. I liked Harper too even though, at some point, all her “can't, shouldn't, wouldn't” were a little over the top. Still, I can understand, after a childhood like hers, that some things were way too hard to overcome.
There were a few things that I didn't quite like. For example, Murphy was too much of a stereotype to me; the surprise visit the detective made to Harper had no follow up, which made absolutely no sense to me; sometimes the story felt a little rushed and the ending came a little sooner than I expected it.
The bottom line is that I liked Stupid Boy better than Stupid Girl. Don't really know if there's going to be another book in this series, but if there's a third I'll probably check the synopsis and then decide if I'm reading it or not.
“We were alike, she and I. We shared demons. We shared fears. We'd share the healing, too.”

I fell head over heels in love with this book, my expectations were high because I loved Meredith in the first book of this series and Kat Cantrell totally nailed it!
Jason and Meredith got married in Vegas but they thought the marriage wasn't valid. Two years later, Meredith wants to make a grown up move and invest in her sister business turning it into a partnership, but then she finds out that she's still married to Jason. She has to tell Jason about it and asks him for a quick divorce. Jason immediately agrees because he's engaged to another woman. But then Jason's plans fall apart and he needs Meredith to help him out before signing the papers.
So, with sparks flying everywhere, the build up between them is incredibly good and their connection is really strong. Their dialogues are well written, I really liked that Meredith wasn't afraid to ask questions and to press for answers. There were a few times I wanted to smack Jason in the head but I could understand his hesitation, I think he had pretty valid reasons especially because I've struggled with some of his issues (it's probably a children of divorced parents kind of thing). I really loved both characters and found myself reading it in one sitting because I honestly couldn't put my e-reader down. I have to say that Kat Cantrell makes her stories so real that we can relate to her characters very easily and that's what makes this series so great. I really hope there are more books coming in this series!
“Of course, Meredith had always been one of a kind. Her genuine smile hit him in the not-yet-cooled lower half, further proving the point. No woman had ever turned him on with simply a grin. Except his wife, apparently.”
“I said romance was for losers who couldn't get a woman into bed. I didn't need it to get you here. But that doesn't mean I don't think you deserve it.”

I've read a few of Vicki Lewis Thompson's books, so my expectations were high especially after this awesome series teaser. I can say that Vicki didn't disappoint with this one.
It's a second love chance story that starts with Cade quitting his job on a ranch that doesn't feel much like home because his home was Thunder Mountain Ranch. Cade feels he can't go back home because he broke Lexi's heart when he ended their relationship and he doesn't think he can deal with returning and seeing her again. In the exact moment he's looking for another job and leaving the ranch where he's been working, Lexi calls him to tell him his foster mom has been hospitalized. Cade doesn't hesitate to return home to his foster parents, Lexi and the Thunder Mountain Brotherhood.
I want to avoid spoilers so I'm just pointing out what I loved about this book. First of all, both Lexi and Cade don't play emotional games, I really loved how they spoke their mind with each other and their bluntness was kind of refreshing. Of course this means there's not a lot of angst even though there are a few surprises through the book (that I liked, by the way). I also loved how the five years they've been apart didn't change their connection nor their feelings toward each other. Both of them are very strong characters but what makes this story so good is that every time they are together, we can totally see that they are made for each other and that they are much better together than apart.
I loved all the secondary characters including Hematite and Ringo, Herb and Rosie were very sweet too and of course, I'm looking forward for Damon and Finn's books. Especially Finn's because I really loved his interactions with Chelsea and I just wanted more and more of them but after reading the epilogue, which I found hilarious, I can't wait to read Damon's book next.
I received a copy of this book from Harlequin via NetGalley.

I've been counting the days to read the second book in this series. Vicki Lewis Thompson did a great job in the end of the first book and really piqued my curiosity about Damon and Phil's story.
Damon and Phil are going to work together on a new project that will take place in Thunder Mountain Ranch, so they start exchanging e-mails regarding the project but they only meet in person when Damon returns to the ranch.
Damon has his demons, just like Cade and Finn, so he keeps things simple in his life. He loves his job, he's a loner and a commitment isn't really something he ever wanted or needed.
Phil is a independent, strong and beautiful woman who also loves her job. Due to her choice of career, some men (weak men) are intimidated by her and she hasn't met her match. Until Damon.
Rosie, Damon's foster mom, thinks Phil and Damon are perfect for each other and she's right. As soon as they meet, sparks are flying everywhere. Their relationship started a little too fast but it kind of made sense because they have an explosive chemistry and they bond over their love for their jobs in the construction industry. But there comes a point where Damon has to choose if he needs or wants a commitment with Phil.
I loved both Damon and Phil. I really liked the way they interacted with each other and with all the secondary characters (there's new additions and I'm hoping that some of them might get a book too!). All of them are really special and I think that's what makes this series so perfect! It goes without saying that I can't wait for Finn and Chelsea's book!!!
Thunderstruck can be read as a standalone because there's enough background to dive into the story without reading the first book, but I definitely recommend both books in this series. I'm definitely, irrevocably in love with Thunder Mountain Brotherhood Series.

Protector For Hire is the fourth book in Front and Center Series and it made me want to read the first three books. It can be read as a standalone without difficulties but I got curious about the previous stories, so I'll probably read the first books in this series.
Grant, Schwartz's brother, asks him to hide and protect Janelle from her ex husband and even though Schwartz has been living like a recluse for the past ten years, he can't refuse his brother's request, so he agrees to protect her and figures it's going to be like any other mission. One that he's determined to accomplish at all costs.
Janelle is on the run and needs to fall off the grid but she doesn't have the skills to do it alone, so she has to trust Schwartz, who she never met, to protect her and to hide her until her ex husband is in jail.
Janelle beats herself up for her poor choice in men and Schwartz has been punishing himself for surviving his last tour.
I really loved Schwartz, his burden is heavy and his values are held high. I really liked how Janelle got under his skin, how she made him open up and it was a real surprise how the city girl adapted so well to the wilderness. Apart for the lack of good coffee! But in all their differences, they're perfect for each other. Their story is full of humor (their trips to town were hilarious!), suspense, lots of heat and sweet moments. And the Patton family won my heart! I'm adding the first three books in this series to my TBR list.

Turning It On is the second book in the Red Hot Russians series but it can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first book in this series, but the blurb seemed original and the idea of reading a book set in a reality show world got me curious. The fact that I like hot, broody Russian male characters was just a plus.
Hannah is a book editor and she's going to marry the man she's wanted all her life. Jack, her fiancé, works as a lawyer but he always wanted to work as an actor so he convinces Hannah to join a reality show, called Last Fling, after they were invited to it by Eric, a common friend and now screenwriter. Hannah doesn't really see the point in it but Jack is successful in convincing her that she would be making one of his dreams come true.
Vlad is a male stripper that wants to be a writer and gets invited to the show to be a fling, he hesitates, worried about what kind of man he would have to become to perform the task required, but eventually agrees to do it for the money he can make by participating.
I hated Jack from the very beginning, actually, I can share that I hated pretty much all the characters apart from Vlad and Alison. Even Hannah got on my nerves until she started to have a connection with Vlad, then I slowly warmed up to her.
When I started reading the book, I literally could't put it down, it was obvious that Jack manipulated Hannah in every aspect and she let him get away with it, always afraid that he would dump her. I felt like I was watching a train wreck and I couldn't stop looking at it! That's when I realized that Elizabeth got me totally hooked in the story. I really don't want to spoil much, but I can say that I loved Hannah and Vlad's dialogues and Vlad was definitely my favorite character in the book. There were moments when I really didn't want to know what Jack was doing, or Eric by the way, and just wanted more and more of Vlad!
The reality show guidelines and mind games felt very realistic, the way Vlad helps Hannah to get her self esteem up is sweet and their moments together, even though it's a slow build relationship, are really good and Vlad's respect for Hannah is perfect for the all situation. I just wished we got more of Hannah and Vlad's story and less details on other secondary characters.
If you like reading books about hot Russians and set in a reality show world, you have to read this book.

In book 3 of Thunder Mountain Brotherhood series, we finally get Finn's story. I was waiting, rather impatient, for his story since Vicki Lewis Thompson introduced Finn in book 1. And I wasn't disappointed.
Finn and Chelsea have been attracted to each other for years. But Finn is definitely all work and no play. He's a highly driven business owner and his background story, along with his divorce, explains why he works hard to keep his dream, his brewery, successful. He is fiercely loyal to his family, stunningly sexy especially with his cowboy hat on and he has a heart of gold. Easy to fall in love with Finn, right?
Chelsea is definitely my favorite character in this series. She is refreshingly honest with who she is and what she wants. She is, like Finn, a highly driven business owner with a huge talent in marketing but she also knows how to balance perfectly her busy moments and her fun moments. I love how she walks, dresses, teases Finn and how she becomes fiercely loyal to Finn's family even before she met them. Hard not to fall in love with Chelsea!
So, they travel together to the Last Chance Ranch to to raise more money to save Thunder Mountain Ranch, and then they continue their trip towards Thunder Mountain Ranch where Chelsea meets Finn's family and his brotherhood.
Even though Finn fights his attraction to Chelsea from the first moment they meet, Chelsea does't fight it at all. She teases Finn and never hides her feelings for him. Except when he was married. But this trip, along with a few years of buildup, brings them closer and closer until Finn finally can't fight it anymore. And it's a perfect, steamy, hot roller coaster with this two.
Pure romance in a memorable series about loyalty, family, passion and love.

Meg is a pre med student who lost someone recently and she's struggling with that loss and the overwhelming guilt. She is a hard working student, has a little trouble connecting with her parents and she is a sweet girl. She goes to a party, where she is supposed to meet Kara, her best friend, and she runs into Miles while looking for a bathroom. How they meet is probably the most hilarious scene in the book.
Miles is a rock star. As in sexy, tattooed, tortured soul who is the Sinful Serenade lead singer and song writer. I have to say Miles surprised me, I don't really see him as tortured, I think he often acts as the perfect guy but he struggles with some issues, tortured is a heavy word for it.
They have an instant connection and that kind of bugged me, it just felt a little rushed. That aside, I really liked how Meg tells him that nothing is going to happen between them, as soon as Miles is flirting with her, even though it didn't take much to change her mind. Meg is desperate to fill the void inside and the insane attraction between them is obviously impossible to resist. Both of them are way too raw to dive in a relationship, but since Meg is a virgin, they also rule out a one night stand, so Meg states her terms for their friends with benefits relationship.
Miles is a little harder to understand than Meg, but the author shows perfectly that at some point even Miles doesn't understand what he's doing, he just can't stay away from Meg and he doesn't know how to handle his feelings. I think the last piece of the puzzle (when Meg finds out what Miles is hiding from her) fits perfectly, he obviously struggles with feeling too much and that last piece totally explains it.
I really enjoyed this book, sometimes I wanted more details, more Kara and more of the other band members, but it's definitely a good start to this series.
Anyone who loves books about sexy rock band members, will love to read Sing Your Heart Out, I promise Miles is everything you're looking for in a book boyfriend!
I'm looking forward to read about the other band members, especially Drew and Kara's story. Without a doubt, Crystal Kaswell made my list of authors to watch and read.

Zoe needs to escape her life, or at least press pause and run to someplace where she won't be recognized, after a public scandal that blew up in her face involving her fiancé. With a little help from a friend, she lands on a idyllic private resort that is a few weeks away from opening. But she doesn't know that the resort is owned by her former next door neighbor, the bad boy that she always wanted.
Ryder did a favor to his friend and accepted to help a girl who needed to take a break from her life. Little did he know that Zoe was that girl and when he finds out, he can't bring himself to cancel her flight and her vacation in his resort.
They aren't teenagers anymore and of course their lives have changed. Still, their attraction is even stronger than it used to be. Teenager Ryder managed to steer clear of Zoe because he thought he wasn't good enough for her and Zoe never even knew he was just as interested in her as she was in him. But now they're both adults, Ryder is a self-made man and nothing, even Zoe's recent public drama with her ex, stands in their way, right?
Well, not exactly...
One Night With The Billionaire is an entertaining story, the chemistry between Zoe and Ryder is great, it's an easy romantic read and all the characters in the book are lovable (except Zoe's dad and her ex-fiancé), but I would enjoy it more if their situation had been a little harder to solve especially after all of Ryder's internal struggle.

The Deacons of Bourbon MC haven't been an active MC for 10 years. Priest, their former leader dies and suddenly Travis, as a former Deacons member, is summoned back to New Orleans for Priest's funeral.
Travis has his own security business, he worked hard to turn his life around and isn't at all eager to face his past and the Deacons. In New Orleans, he finds out that the old club house is now an art gallery and the quick stay he planned won't be possible because there's Priests will and strange circumstances surrounding his death.
Billie is the current tenant, owner of the art gallery, she's a kind, bohemian, free spirit girl with a positive vibe. She lives above the gallery, loves the french quarter, she's completely passionate about art and tries to help artists assisting them in exposing their work.
Like most badass bikers, Travis hates when things don't go as he planned so when he enters the art gallery, he acts like an arrogant bastard because he just wants to sell everything and get back to his life. To him, Billie is just another complication and he shouldn't notice how hot she is. Billie isn't very happy with the situation too, especially because she feels she found the place where she belongs and doesn't want to give up her space, the french quarter and her independence. She is even less thrilled by the fact that Travis gets under her skin without even trying. Tempers flare, sparks fly and emotions run high...
I really enjoyed the second book in the Deacons series. It was easy to like Travis and Billie and I really enjoyed their story but I wanted a little more development about the unanswered questions surrounding their exile and Priest's death. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Written On My Heart was the first book I've read by Cole Gibsen but it certainly won't be the last. There's something about this beautiful story that I just can't put in words and that's why I've been postponing this review. Words can't do it justice. You have got to read this amazing book to capture its essence. The writing, the characters, everything about this book is absolutely perfect.
Ashlyn stood up to her abusive stepfather and got kicked out of her home with a busted rib. Her mother stayed with him and did nothing to help Ashlyn. So, she has to make it on her own, alone. She works on a coffee shop, lives in a crappy apartment with a roommate who has no sense of responsibility. She's making the best of what she has, trying to save as much money as she can and stay out of trouble. But then there's Emily, her co-worker, they bond and Emily takes Ashlyn to cover up a tattoo of her ex boyfriend's name.
Lane, Emily's brother, is the tattoo artist. Lane is a jerk at first. He acts like that to keep people away, he's been hurt before and that's just a way to protect himself. He lost his father, he's fiercely loyal and always puts his family above his own needs. He is a protector and has a secret. Ashlyn and Lane's attraction is very strong but neither of them are interested in a relationship nor in letting someone in. They're both fighting their personal demons but will they take a chance on each other?
I recommend Written On My Heart to anyone who wants to read a beautifully written story.

The SEAL's Secret Heirs is the fifth book in the Texas Cattleman's Club: Lies and Lullabies Miniseries. I haven't read the previous books, so I can assure you that it can be read as a standalone because Kat Cantrell sets the background perfectly! I've got to say that I'll probably go back to read Liam and Hadley's story because I loved both of them through this book.
Kyle Wade left Royal ten years ago because of a misleading event that changed his life. He joined the Navy and never looked back. He wasn't supposed to come back to Royal but his life changes unexpectedly once more and he has to return home. To the ranch he never wanted, to his twin brother (they were never close) and to Grace, his high school girlfriend.
Grace is an independent woman, she has a career that fulfills her but she can't move on romantically. Not after Kyle. She has high standards and well, she isn't going to settle with someone who doesn't even know how to spell standards (loved this dialogue between the girls!). When Kyle returns, Grace has to face him and, as Kyle's babies caseworker, has to evaluate his ability to be a good father and provide the best environment for his daughters.
Can Kyle prove to Grace that he's the best choice to raise his babies?
Will Grace and Kyle trust each other and overcome their past? Just read their story to find out!
I am a huge fan of second chance romances and I loved Kyle and Grace's emotional journey so much that I read it in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down! And the horse show... EPIC!
I highly recommend The SEAL's Secret Heirs to anyone who wants to read an entertaining, emotional, beautifully written, fast paced story and to anyone who loves second chance romances with red-hot chemistry.
Claimed by Love is the second book in Melissa Foster's Love In Bloom: The Ryders Series and it's a passionate love story that can be read as a standalone.
Gabriella Liakos is a strong-willed, confident woman who is deeply in love with Elpitha Island where she grew up and where she would love to live but the Island is in financial ruins and the job offering is slim to none. Especially because she's a family law attorney and well... no one ever gets divorced in Elpitha. Gabriella's grandfather asks her to help him save the family's Island and their legacy by reaching a good deal with the real estate investors.
Duke is a hot real estate investor who wants to make Elpitha into an exclusive resort, with casinos and golf courses. He possesses a very strong work ethic but he's also a very determined and clever investor. Both Duke and Gabriella weren't expecting the strong instant attraction between them, the sparks between them are so tangible that almost every member of Gabriella's family notice and tease them about it.

Claiming Her SEAL is the first book in the new multi-Author ASSIGNMENT: Caribbean Nights series. Hot SEALS and strong-willed heroines are heating up the Caribbean and I won't miss it!
Former Navy SEAL James “Dex” Riley runs an island adventure company in the Caribbean with members of his former SEAL team and he tries to keep his life simple. He hides the darkness in his past as a sniper but he's still fighting the demons that haunt him.
Emma Richardson is on vacation with her best friend Rachel, trying to get over a traumatic experience and she's battling her own demons but she's also trying to take control of her life again.
Dex and Emma meet at the beach when Dex rescues Emma from unwanted attention. Their attraction is instant and while Emma decides that a fling with Dex is perfect for her, Dex thinks Emma is too innocent so he keeps trying to fight their chemistry.
The story starts slow but as Dex helps Emma to overcome her fears, Emma pushes Dex to open up about the darkness in his past and it's an emotional ride. I loved their story although I wished that the book was a little longer. I also loved Rachel, Evan, Jace and Charlie.
Claiming Her SEAL is the perfect start to this series, I highly recommend it if you love a good contemporary romance featuring a damaged former SEAL and a strong heroine that share a deep emotional connection. Can't wait to read the next in this series and I'm especially looking forward to reading Rachel and Evan's story.

Play Your Heart Out isn't just a typical rock star romance. It's a story about broken hearts.
Pete is Sinful Serenade's bassist, he's intense, not much of a talker, he has a tendency to pretend that everything is fine while he hides his feelings from everyone, even from his brother Tom. His high school girlfriend cheated on him with one of his closest friends and since he found out, he's been banging his way through LA. Now, Pete needs to clean up his reputation to please the record company and Jess is exactly the girl he needs to help him.
Jess is a good girl, a huge Hunger Games fan, she got into law school but even though she's working hard as a waitress and applying for loans, she's not going to be able to pay for it. Jess is also nursing a broken heart after her boyfriend cheated on her.
As soon as Pete meets Jess, he knows she's perfect to play his fake girlfriend and since Jess desperately needs help to pay her tuition, he persuades her that it's a win-win situation.
But they didn't quite expect an explosive chemistry and such a strong connection. There are plenty of bittersweet moments while Jess struggles with lying to Pete's family, bandmates and their girlfriends and they both struggle to keep their hearts safe. Their group moments are perfect and Miles mind games are, as usual, hilarious!
I've read the previous books in SS series, so I've been waiting for Pete's story eagerly and I think my expectations were a little too high. Don't get me wrong, I definitely enjoyed it but I really wanted more from Pete, wanted more of his feelings, his struggles, I wish Crystal dug a little deeper. Well, honestly, Drew is still my favorite! I'm really excited about Sinful Ever After (yes, there's a 5th book!) and I'm thrilled that Crystal Kaswell is doing a spin-off with Dangerous Noise, Drew's first band!

Boyd Hudson is a firefighter with a tragic past. He's working hard to accomplish his dream – get into medical school. Boyd is strong, fiercely loyal, protective of his family and friends, hot, charming, hard working and has a huge giving heart. Trust me, Boyd is not only amazing, he's the ultimate book boyfriend!
Janie is fiercely independent, she moved away from her overprotective parents, built a life in New York City, lives next door to her best friend Kiki (is there going to be a book about Kiki? I loved her!) and she loves her job as a technical editor. Janie is also blind and she wants to demonstrate that her disability doesn't define her.
Boyd is instantly attracted to Janie but he hasn't got much time for dating because he's totally focused on his dream. Janie thinks that Boyd is a player but she likes to flirt and talk to him. Until fate stepped in and Janie has an accident. Fortunately, Boyd is there to help her, support her and he takes her to the hospital, but she needs to lean on him for a few days and that makes their attraction to each other impossible to deny.
Their story is red hot, funny, sweet, emotional, unique, beautifully written and before you know it, you're laughing and crying with the characters and you're deeply invested in their journey.
I've read a few of Melissa Foster's books but Touched by Love is definitely her best. And it's not a 5 star book, it's a 6 star above and beyond! One of my 2016 top reads!
