 This book featured a version of one of my least favorite mystery tropes- ‘everybody did it'. As someone who also dislikes paranormal elements in mystery novels, I could only rate this book 2.5 stars. However, if you're drawn to mysteries involving the paranormal and cults, this might be right up your alley.

I don't know what I expected since the title and synopsis are pretty spot on but it wasn't what I was in the mood for.
