I enjoyed most of the stories, especially Gigs, but I struggled with Limerant Object because I'm not religious.

Lot of mixed feelings about this...full on bitter ending and the story was lacking.

This one took me awhile, mostly due to the political shift. I wasn't prepared for that, nor am I particularly fond of this narrative. It was a rather dry read at times, but the cast made up for it. I also liked learning more about their world and what uploading is like, and what led people to even consider it as a viable option.

I really wanted to like this one, but it quickly became a slog to get through. It would do better as a visual medium, I'm sure. But as a book, with characters as thin as cardboard? No way.
