The story is about Malvika and Rahul. The story narrated from the side of both characters made it more interesting. Malvika lost her brother and had panic attacks as she can't come out of the events that happened in her life. She is taking treatment and the doctor says she to join later but she joins college to graduate in MA.
She meets a guy named Rahul who falls for her too soon and came close to her. She opened her walled gates for him. Rahul too recently lost his father. They were destined to be together but Rahul suddenly disappeared from her life and never contacted her and she was hardly active after abandoned by her lover. Then came a good friend in her life Sagar, who her neighbor and the one who tried to make her laugh and be happy. Sagar loved Malvika but Malvika still has the love for Rahul.
Rahul went to London to pursue MBA and took care of his Uncle's business. He never had a relationship in London and he was guilty of abandoning her lady love without saying anything, he never tried to contact her when he visited his mother in Mumbai. He even made his visit 2-3 days as he doesn't want to face Malvika.
As Rahul's mother was ill he resigned and came back to India t know what happened and how the story ended read it. Does Malvika accept the proposal of Sagar? Does Rahul confessed his guilt and tried to make up for the years lost and get back her trust.
All short stories and the ways it is were narrated as a conversation with a writer and a character he created Daksh was so good.
Many underestimate the horror genre but there are different stories with different emotions, the story with gore and the climax was so intriguing. All the short stories within the story were good.
This is a short read with good narration which is so enjoyable.
I liked Shreyas and Priyanka. They both wanted an understanding person in their life. They were not rejecting each other thinking the other one will reject made me laugh. They started meeting each other and texting and had a good connection, clarity and wanted to know more about each other when planning for a arrange marriage. She went to training for few months when there was no much contact. She got the opportunity to become a permanent employee.
Priyanka decided herself that he will not allow her to pursue a career after which made her say no at last.
This is one of the few books that cannot have any audience restrictions or limit. This universality of this book can be understood by the fact that being employed would never go out of trend. Therefore, I will not restrict in recommending this book to any particular group of readers rather, old and young, all should read.
The author of the book is a life coach he says how to identify what we are and what we want in life and about having a role model, goal setting, setting the right goal the right way. The book is very short with 29 pages but it gives us some important thing to remember and motivate ourself and move ahead.
It is a super self-help book. It is short but gives us all the necessary things to an enthusiastic person with the right goal and the right plan to reach the goal on time.
Whatever the thing we should love ourselves. We should stay positive and determined. Self-confidence, Self-awareness is more important. You shouldn't hear what others say about you. Believe in yourself, you know what you are capable of. We should Practice mindfulness. It helps us to focus on one thing at a time.
This is a good read written in a very simple and interesting way. The authors interact well with this book to us and in many chapters, he asks questions to know the level at which we are. It such a short and nice read.
This is a book with 12 short stories that are different from each other which creates a different type of emotions on reading each one.
I enjoyed reading all the stories especially the one in which the girl loses her brother and the story of friends who are always there for each other and especially the story of the Tea lover who finds solace with a cup of tea.
If u love to read short stories or a person who wishes to read some books you can start with short stories because each story is between 5-10+ pages.
This is a good read. This is quite a different read for me. This is a dystopian novel where people are suffering due to a lack of water. When we exploit the resources and nature we will be the one who suffers from lack of amenities needed for living that are available from nature. The edible water is limited and is protected by a regime, the Civil Imperial regime. The regime provided water in the ration for common people. There was some dirty politics carried out in the regime and the dark secrets are found out. I like the rebels who are rebelling against the regime. There are a lot of action sequences. I wish to read if there is a release of the next part. If we care and use it as necessary, the earth is a paradise.
This is a good read which makes us think about what will happen if we exploit our nature. We will be in ruin suffering most for what we have done to the environment. Not we, our future generation. Think of protecting our nature and having sustainable development. This is a good story with the lesson if we continue to exploit nature like this, the earth will become a place where no being can live.
I loved the way the author tried to showcase the environmental impacts and futuristic problems through a good storyline.
The story is a mythological contemporary thriller. The protagonist Eklavya is on a mission together guided by his grandmother. Eklavya's only family was his grandmother. He is on a quest to complete the mission after the death of his grandmother.
Eklavya finds the hidden secrets about the Saptarishis the most powerful and intelligent beings created from the third eye of Lord Shiva. Overall the story is good and I loved it and it is more on traditions and beliefs. The way the beliefs and science are connected is explained and was good but the pace of the story was slow.
This is a collection of short stories with varied emotions. Each story is different and had a moral at the end of the story. From the first story till the last one I liked it. People fear society and never live the life they wish to they like and act like someone. People never be themselves if we think of society.
Overall the book is good to read and the way it was narrated well. The story may or may not have a good ending but each makes us learn and know something.
I loved this read. I thought about why Veena and Josh were introduced and got the point. The panipuri vendors controlled by the mafia and the deaths of entrepreneurs who try to make the panipuri business online. Finally found who was the admin of the www.pp.com blog. After death so many entrepreneurs still Sagar tried to move with his idea of selling Panipuris through Papi.
There are a lot of twists, turns, betrayals, and thrilling events in the story. I really felt sad for the untimely demise of PaPi's CEO. I loved the attitude of all the members of PaPi who want to make the dreams of Sagar come true and got a good investment. I loved Veena as a Tech Geek. I really don6 know what to say about Yashu and Rudra as they were so different characters in the story. Rathi, Koyal, and Jim were the innocent people from the team PaPi.
I have happy for Barfi and Viraj as they escaped from the Jaani, Tiku, and Baja.
Overall the story is interesting and I love the way it is narrated.
The journey matters more than the destination. The story of Nila and Adi was interesting and teach us a lot. Adi is an entrepreneur and a wanderlust biker who meets Nila in her treehouse and the villagers who loved him like their own.
Life is very simple we are making it complex.
I loved the attitude of Nila. I thought Adi will find Nila but the ending made me feel. They both had a good heart to help peoples in a war-prone country. The way Nila looking thinks and ger smile when she meets new people and the childlike curiosity, enthusiasm, and positivity made her a different person. I don't want to give more spoilers. I really enjoyed reading it.
The narration was so good and the writing style is simple. From a happy village to a war-prone country, the memory loss of Adi everything made the story a different one.
The character Raj Purniman and Dr. Ali had played a super role in this story. People like them are necessary in our world.
For people who need some motivation to get into the work, this is the right one. I loved reading it as it gave me a lot of positive energy. This is a 41 pages short read with good content and the way the authors explaining in a short and crisp manner is so good. It is a self-help book.
The story is about Zoya and her struggles as she is a Muslim girl and in her community people woman should get married and bear a child and take care of them is an important task in life than their goals. The Laws of their community are different and that is more like a law created by men for their wishes. Am Sorry as I don't want to hurt the community just saying from my point of view. Giving triple talaq at the same time because of anger made the relationship broke, they wish to be together but the community doesn't allow it. It is so bad to hear that. I had seen a series called Halala and cried seeing the suffering of the girl.
I really appreciate Zoya for being so adamant about reaching her goal. Her success spoke more than her words. She will be a great inspiration for all women and especially for the woman in her community as there are a lot of obstacles to be faced.
I loved the family of Zoya, who were more supportive. I loved the friendship of Zoya, Sana, and Khushi. Alok Sir played such an important role in the life of Zoya.
I loved reading it and wish to recommend it to all my friends as it was very inspiring.
This is self-help with some stories to make us understand how we each have different goals and different definitions for happiness. The author gives practical ideas to achieve success and how to select one goal at a time and take step by step to reach it. We all plan but unless we take steps it is not possible. Taking baby steps is important more than planning and he explains about finding one's Satya and trying the way to achieve it.
Unlike other self-help books, this gives step-by-step direction to reach our success and explains how to overcome obstacles with examples. He has said about his goal for weight loss which he did for himself not of thinking what others speak and how he started writing a book, how we all become lazy with no timely routine to eat food, sleep during this lockdown. He also said about planning and how it may fail at some time and having a plan B and reviewing the pros and cons and how well we have carried out with a plan.
We should practice mindfulness and stay focused and try to do one work at a time. Meditation and Exercise need to keep our mind and body healthy.
It was much like a conversation between the reader and the writer about how he achieved his goal using the technique, explaining the techniques and what was his goal, and how he started working. I recommend this to all there who are interested and wish to read a self hep book.
I really loved reading it from the beginning as it has a lot of examples while explaining about each stuff like a manager, leader, how to treat colleagues and team members what are the mistakes that people do. The example of using a kite and using cricket and captains of Indian cricket team to explain there are different ways of interpreting numbers.
If you want some insights into how a person should be in a corporate world and wish to reach a peak can be learned from the experience of the author.
The way the book was narrated made me enjoy and get more knowledge and change myself. Thankyou.
This is a sequel to Almost Mortal. I read Almost Damned the same day after reading Almost Mortal so the flow was so good and I was enjoying the read. In this book, all the upcoming characters and their role were mentioned prior. Sam has always used his powers to help his clients but now things are different and he wants to defend the fallen Angels and the hybrids before the panel of God - Gabriel, Raguel, Saraikel.... Samuel was represented as her and she was the prosecutor and the way the story was moving was so good.
Here too Sam was reading back the Journal and the appearance of more hybrids and return of Camille at right time to help Sam was interesting. The characters Tawana, Igor, Riker all were given detailed narration and they are all played their part well in the story.
I will surely say you should read Almost Mortal which makes you understand more about fallen Angels and their capabilities and the hybrids who are immortal. Almost Damned get more interesting when they all reach Mount Hermon. The way Amelia asked questions to the person who did the background check on Sam will make u laugh.
It is a mixture of religious and legal stuff, supernatural elements, and for sure it is a different story and I enjoyed reading.
I am a thriller read lover. I found it a different read with a lot of details and a lot of characters and I even forgot some characters introduced who appear later at some part of the story like. It is a long read and took time but it is interesting too.
I loved the character Sam, the way he was handling cases. To find a serial killer who confessed in the church was really made me read it. Some journal entries are given by sister Camille to Sam. The journal was also narrated it make us think who it was, who it was what was the connection with the murder and this story.
Then one more thing is about finding using DNA samples and the detailed explanation by Juliana. You should read it at a slow pace to understand each and everything in the plot arranged. I think this will become a movie soon. The court scenes and the way Sam speaks and helps the clients and speaking about his side cases all were needed to make the characters appear later in some part. There are a lot more hidden facts about the serial killer case and he wants to his mother's relation with Camille and Raj.
Overall the story and narration are so good and I recommend this to thriller genre lovers.
The book is really interesting and the way it was narrated from the side of different characters was so good. Some situation and their past experience make the people rude and don't allow to trust anyone. Everyone is not the same, we should follow our instincts and believe and try to live in present. If there is a problem we should not keep it with ourselves and interpret it, communicate to know what is the reality than assuming it unless it is too late. These are the things we will understand from reading this book. This is about the relationship between Trisha and Raghav. Naisha and Rohan were also so good characters and the change of Rohan was a bit sad, there was nor more about Rohan and Naisha after she being herself and I wish she to had a happy life thereafter.
In this story, we can know how love, care, and each relationship are important what happens if the family is not a family just living as a family for namesake.
Love is forever if it's true is true when it comes to the story of Raghav and Trisha, they are separated by physical distance but mentally they were always thinking of each other and that made them ending together having a happy life.
I just thought to read a book and pick it and when I read few chapters it was so engaging that I read in a full stretch. This is the story of Naina, the girl who went to the US for her higher studies, and the guy she loved said he'll wait. Then we are moved to the story after 10 years where Naina comes from New York to Surat for her best friend's wedding with her husband Vinay. Things start to change guys. There are a lot of events waiting to be read.
I liked the friendship of Naina and Sarah, Sarah is a single mother because of her one-night stand and later found her love Avinash but Sarah's parents never accepted her back after knowing about her pregnancy. Now Sana is 3 years and She got a loving dad Avinash.
The way Naina was arranging everything from engagement, Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, and Marriage events was really narrated well and I loved it. Naina is not a happy woman as she tries to love her husband for the past 5 years but failed and Vinay is not taking any initiative too.
From this read, I understood we should live for ourselves and we should make ourselves happy and don't think of Society. Many show they are best and happy just to please society but inside they are broken. They want to lead a different life and wish to do what makes them happy but they think what others think and speak of us make them not take a single step towards their happiness.
We have this life once and we should not regret at the end of our life not doing what we wish. Live the life to fullest and make yourself happy first before trying to make others happy.
This is a dystopian novel where there is some natural disaster and spreading of this which is causing heavy damage to people and the surrounding. The story is weaved in a nice way. The writing so good and lucid that makes the reader engaged with the story. There is some romance too which acts as a balm when there are a lot of things going around. There are a lot of heartbreaking painful moments in the story.
This is a thriller genre and I recommend it to all of you as the author's style of writing was so good and captivating, the characters are narrated so well.
There is a lot of suspense waiting for you. I don't want to give any spoilers. I really thought of the current scenario we are facing. In many states, there are monsoon floods caused by cyclones and on another side, COVID is mutating and oxygen demand, vaccine demand.
In this book, we learn how we can overcome our childhood traumas and how it will affect us both physically and mentally leading to one thing after another and changing us adding some good things and bad. The story of Kabir is really so emotional to hear as I remembered few events of my life where my mom beats me up a lot for no reason and later pampers me. They show their frustration stress and anger on their kids. Kabir's parents gave him a lot of freedom and trusted people around and never spend much time with their kids which was one of the reasons he became a victim of child abuse from the age of 4.
When the kid says all that happened, the child is blamed. Parents should be there for their kids and should be a strong pillar of support when they even least deserve it.
We can overcome any problem or guilt for what we have not done if we open with the right person. We can free our minds and take the right decisions rather than getting frustrated and depressed. I think everyone should read this to know how children are abused and how it affects their life.
First of all the narration is so good explaining from the day of Zark how nations are divided and how they are interdependent and about the people in the different nations their culture and their way of living to the competition where everything changes as Anika, Dred, Mitali, Jarret, Scario reach the barren land and the way their life changes and become the saviors of the nations. I really felt bad for Jarret. Anika became a super magician. Scario got the evil energy and learned the spells of them to be on the good side. The story was interesting till the end and I wish there will be a second part as the Evil Queen said she will return.
The story takes you to a different world full of magic, courage, strength, and belief.
The book is a science fiction thriller with a lot of suspense waiting for you. There is a secret project carried out by the Australian Government. Marcus and Henry are working on the project whereas Marcus is a scientist and Henry is his assistant who is an Australian spy. Meanwhile, they were doing a project on a 5g WI-FI receiver Marcus finds a therapeutic remedy related to neuroscience.
All was going well in the laboratory till the murder. There are a lot of twists and turns and more people coming into the picture. As it was a big project many officials and their influence are making many things happen.
A well-crafted story. Each character is narrated well and they all have contributed well. This is a super read and you will surely enjoy it.
This is a superb historical fiction. The story is about the resurface of the plague that hit the population in 14th century. The government authorities trying to find a solution as there is lot of casualties. They find some work done in 90's by Dr. Srikanth.
The way the book was divided and the narration from the 14th-century plague to 96 findings to cure the disease using ancient and modern medicine and the current scenario waa really thrilling and intriguing.
A sure read for historical fiction lovers.
