the writing is getting boring and nothing ever happens romantically between the characters.
There are still a few funny one liners that had me cracking up out loud when I was reading the book on the train.
id give it a 2 1/2
This was a cute read.I hadn't read [b:To Have and to Hoax 52210045 To Have and to Hoax Martha Waters https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1577153989l/52210045.SX50_SY75.jpg 71426931] so the beginning was a little difficult to follow with all of the characters. There were references to that book so I'd highly recommend you read it first. The premise of the story was great, however I didn't feel like there was a the witty banter I was promised. I wanted to laugh and feel the tension between the two, but it was very muted. I also felt that many scenes dragged on and I skipped a lot of the characters internally babbling. While the two characters had known each other for 6 years - the insta-love was a little quick. The fact that they had sex twice and then realized they loved each other was a little quick.
I like the book a lot. It was interesting to see two teens in the midst of culture re-education. However I was confused towards the end of the book. The author switched tactics of writing with no warning and wrote from the view point of other characters in the book. The ending didn't seem to go with the beginning of the book.
AWFUL. This should not be a popular book, the writing is terrible. I've read harlequin Blaze with better characters and plot than this book
I enjoyed it. Originally thought it would be pretty stupid by the blurb but I thought I would give it a chance.
Much funnier that I originally thought.
Actually liked some of the secondary characters and can't wait to ready their stories.
I am in love with this book. It's 4:00am and I just finished this in one sitting. it's that good. This book has it all; humor, sexy men, romance...
