Twisted character development and I'm living for it. Gj Gege Akutami.

OH MY GOD THAT ENDING
I DIDNT SEE IT COMING THE HECKKKKKKKK

Quite engaging for a prequel. Good story pacing.
I stumbled onto this without any basic knowledge of Jujutsu Kaisen's world building, so the first half of this volume was kind of confusing (for me, of course). But overall, I think I had a good time reading this, almost tearing up at the end tho.

Everything is so black and white that I find it exceptionally funny to read.

The epitome of “Oh god, that's it?”

“You can't know where you're going until you know where you are.”

(and have short attention span like me)

Xin phép không rate vì đọc không hợp với văn bác Ánh.

Could have been shorter, really.

Listen, I love Hiromi, but oh boy do I find this one to be really.. trippin'.

“Người Việt không cuồng tín, cũng không tin bản thân mình “sinh ra đã mang tội lỗi”, mà tín ngưỡng của người Việt là để cầu mong hạnh phúc cho con người hiện thế.”

3.75/5
Informative and highly practical.
Cal got a little bit repetitive with his ideas as reaching the end of the book, but overall, this is still a good read.

I read this for the Translation Theories class last semester. Not disappointed.

Honestly, I wanted to like it.
I got to know why it is what it is and managed to have some insights here and there, but man... does it annoy me how his writing is so condescending at times.

ahh crap, yakumo u charming bastard

Devastated.
I would never ever be normal again after this.
