al quinto poema me dieron ganas de llorar. creo que empezé a llorar con el septímo. no me gustó tanto como la residencia en la tierra, pero los poemas no fueron tan dulces.

belle introduction à la vie et à l'ouvre de manet. malheuresement, mon intérêt pour l'artiste s'arrête ici, vu qu'il n'est pas génial, ces peintures ont un air d'absence, manque d'imagination. ces natures mortes sont les plus réussies, et un seul portrait, le bar aux folies bergère.

et puis il n'avait plus su quoi lui dire. et puis il le lui avait dit. il lui avait dit que c'était comme avant, qu'il ne pourrait jamais cesser de l'aimer, qu'il l'aimerait jusqu'à sa mort.

mon petit je pense que je t'aimerais jusqu'à ma mort puisque je n'ai jamais pu t'aimer proprement.

très joli et très marrant petit livre

incredibly poetic and rich prose, all the while remaining witty and selfaware. reading the first part of adult world (i) i wanted to have a husband; reading adult world (ii) made me want to write. church not made with hands was so stunning and tis-stan was hilarous, just as on his deathbed

beautiful book about memory and its loss. also about women and femininity, i would name my daughter oscar if our family didn't have a dog with that name. i'll think of another name for my daughter like it.
